I’ve had a few of these and this is the best. The back is flexible. The “grass” is soft. It doesn’t shed on the edges like some others. It rolls up easily. It came folded up but after hanging the wrinkles came out in a day or two. The backing is also very flexible and easy to wash.
Great for kids or pets.

Although the pile is low, the material seems durable. The 7’x10′ size is large and provides a good, zero maintenance seating area in my backyard. The rubber backing has performed well to keep the fake grass carpet in place, but it does not provide much body to walk on. The carpet washes off easily with a spray from the hose. The fake blades of grass are soft and comfortable on bare feet. It is unfortunate that the edges are not bound since that would have made it seem more like an area rug, rather than unfinished bulk material.
Perfect size, very bright and vibrant blend of greens. Love it on my patio for my dog and her puppies to play on. The rubber grip bottom is grippy for sure and durable from the puppies being able to chew on it. Easy to clean off if they go on it.
We got this artificial grass turf rug, a 7′ x 10′ piece to lay in front of the pool steps in hope of a cooler and softer out-of-the-pool exit onto the hot cement. It does provide a soft feel and a nice comfortable surface underfoot and durable enough to withstand the moisture while using. The TPR rubber backing helps to keep the grass rug firmly in place on the cements surface while soaking wet. It’s a breeze to care for… just rinse with a hose and hang for a quick air-dry.
When side-by-side it looks and feels like real grass… offering the same nice green color and a close appearance of a luscious natural lawn. At a distance you can’t even distinguish between the real and faux… instant curb-appeal!
On a closer look and feel it’s more light-weight and not as full and plush as I was expecting. You will see some bare spots and the corners have a tendency to blow up in the wind. All-in-all the grass rug works well for our purpose and Best of all no grass clippings in the pool.

For me, it’s definitely a 5-star item because for my particular use, it will work just fine.
What IS my use? I had a big (32′ wide by 10′ deep) front porch built last summer, then a pathway from my driveway to the front porch entrance area after that. There’s about 18-24″ of grass between the porch and the pathway, but it’s impossible to mow with my riding mower and so I will be using this fake grass in that area (if needed, I will use landscaping staples to hold it in place). This plan will work for me because I wasn’t planning to actually PLANT anything there – rather, I will use potted flowers and greenery, and I think they will look beautiful.
I ordered the 7’x10′ size and that gives me LOTS of area to cut my fake grass sections. Other projects are higher priority right now, so I took some pictures on my porch but haven’t yet cut the rug to size, so I will try to remember to come back and take another picture once this is in place in at least one of the areas in front of the porch. My first picture was when I first opened the box – the “grass” looked very green and very lush. It does have a few bare spots, as you can see in my second picture when I laid the “grass” out on my porch, but again, for my purposes, it is definitely full enough. For my third picture, I just had some fun and added my Christmas resin dog on top of the rug – I think he enjoyed that “grass”! And for my fourth picture, I wanted to see how potted plants would look on the “grass,” so that’s what you see – a 14″ planter with flowers and a 12″ planter with greenery. I think they look very nice, especially the beige of the planter on the deep green of the rug.
Overall I am very happy to have this and I will be even happier when we finally get it into place! The current coupon price of $75.99 (as of 6/3/26) isn’t bad at all for a “grass” rug of this size.
