Before this device came into my life, I was suffering bad. I lost my job, my kids hated me, and my wife left me for a Greek masseur. The day before I bought this device, I tripped on my own foot and cut myself bad.
Then this modem came into my life. Fast speeds. Reliable connectivity. Tasteful design. EVERYTHING TURNED AROUND!
I met a lovely woman from Russia online. She says I’m real handsome. My kids are talking to me again. And, my wife’s masseur paramour left her. Life is grand!
Anyway, get this modem. It’s great.
The Arris Surfboard S33 cable modem easily reaches the top speeds (approximately 1.6 Gbps (Down); 40Mbps (up)) offered by my ISP, Comcast/xfinity. It works seamlessly with my Netgear Orbi RBE970 Mesh system, comprised of 1 router and 4 satellites. Prior generations of the Arris Surfboard cable modem also provided excellent service and dependability. The install/setup is simply easy.
We’ve only used it for a few weeks now, but it works great so far. Set up with Xfinity was a breeze. It took about 10 minutes to install through the Xfinity app. It’s a perfect match for our Asus 2.5Gbps router. No hiccups or disconnects yet. We do have an AC Infinity120mm Multifan S3 positioned next to the modem and under the router to keep both cool. Speeds are excellent. Highly recommend if you’re on Xfinity.
Work as a wonderful pass through modem for Cox cable. Highly recommend if you are trying to setup VPN with your own router. This pushes the public IP right through to a router and works with your cable company.
Excellent prduct…almost no speed loss in passthrough.
