I want to retract my last review. I was really unfair to Armor All. I was terribly hard and 100% wrong. My problem was arrogance and failure to RTFM. ALL THAT IS ON ME.
AFTER I Read the manual I found my mistake. I am used to a gun that you fill up the whole canister with soap. If I would have read first. The first thing I would have done was mix soap and water not 100% soap. So I did a mix of soap and water. I am ecstatic with the results. Truth of the matter this is by far the best foam cannon I have owned or used. It layed down perfect thick uniform layer of suds. Made washing the car fast, thorough and easy. I had 2 weeks worth of pollen making my black truck bright green. Literally only had to soap it down once.
My apologies to the folks at Armor All. I use Armor all for interior. I use a different brand of car wash soap. BUT I will now be running Armor all car wash soaps against what I currently use. I wouldn’t be surprised that Armor all car wash soap is at least equal if not better than what I use now. Sorry, guys. I hope this is what people see.
I used it with my garden hose and it generated a lot of foam which is the idea. If you had a helper, you could wash an entire car in no time, one applying suds and one washing the car. This will be great to use when washing the metal roof on my shed also.
This foam cannon works great, and the quality is exactly as expected. It connects easily to my power washer and makes washing my car much easier and faster. It’s easy to use and definitely worth the money for the product. Very satisfied with this purchase.
After dumping paying for a car Wash subscription and choosing to do my own washes, I found myself in need of a better solution than just using a soapy water bucket for the car wash. I took a gamble after reading the reviews on this one but the Armor All brand has never failed me before, but I’m pleased to say it’s worked very well thus far!
What I initially liked about this is that the box comes with clear instructions on what to do. You fill up the reservoir with about 6-8oz of your car wash solution and fill the rest up to 32oz with water. Then, plug-in your garden hose or pressure washer and get to work!
I haven’t invested in a pressure wash yet, so from a garden hose perspective, it does a very good job. The little knob at the top helps me choose between a soapier blend or just straight water.
I love that it doesn’t leak, the foam is dispersed nice and evenly and I bought a sponge pole to help scrub it down without having to bend down. After that, I turn on the water to rinse and I get to waxing.
All-in-all, I’m very happy to have chosen this one. My car wash arsenal is better off with this in it.
(Oct. 11. 2024 Update): So, this foam cannon’s gone through several uses at this point. It still holds up fantastically with the garden hose option, but I will say that the selection knob between water and foam has been the most problematic part.
It doesn’t have a hard stop from both ends, which means if you turn too hard towards the foam side, it’ll break through and you’ll end up losing track of what option it’s set to. It took me like 15 minutes trying to figure out how to fix it and I have to be extra careful to make sure I don’t flip it too hard one way or the other.
Other than that, still a great foam cannon, but that knob design needs to be revisited.
The fact that it works with both pressure washer machines and garden hoses, already makes it a great tool! I searched for similar items, and I did not find any other options. After receiving it, I immediately tried it with a garden hose and it worked very well – it made a pretty decent foam! I love the fact that the bottle has measurements and the material seems durable. You do have to be careful not dropping the gun since the plastic material will not handle it well. Otherwise, I think it is a convenient tool to have around the house for several cleaning projects.
I bought this two years ago and have been using it regularly without any problems. The foam cannon, which attaches and detaches from the water gun, has been a convenient and reliable combo when it comes to washing, waxing and rinsing my car with no complications. I’ve dropped it onto the concrete a few times and it’s made no difference.
The Foam Cannon Kit has been something I use without thinking about, and it has been a reliable way to keep my cars clean.
