Great Boots
These are lovely boots, the J toe is a narrow shape.

They are really good quality, and beautiful embroidered stitching and piping.

The sole isn’t smooth, like a more ‘Traditional’ style boot, so there’s some grip, which, for a bit of a clumsy twit like myself, is perfect.

The size.

I did a bit of research on cowboy/western boots, as they tend to fit differently to regular boots. Apparently, they are supposed to feel snug, but not tight to begin with, as the leather molds to the foot with wear. When putting on the boot, a struggle is normal, and you hear/feel a ‘pop’ as your heel settles into the boot and once the boot is on, your heel is meant to rise slightly, but not too much. I also read, that these paticular boots tend to run slightly big.

I’m normally a size 8 in normal store bought boots, my feet are borderline wide, so, with the info I’d got I took the risk of ordering a 7.5 uk size, and even with the narrow toe, they’re spot on and my toes don’t feel squashed.

They fit snug, like they’re supposed to, and I did have a bit of a wrestling match getting them on, but heard and felt that ‘pop’ from my heel. I kept them on for a while to ensure they were comfy, and they are.

The shaft (the bit that goes around the calf) is quite wide, so great if your calves are bigger and underneath the pull straps, there’s some elastic, allowing for even further stretch.

They came well packaged, in an Ariat box, beautifully wrapped with little, what I presume are anti-mold/moisture tabs in the box.

They truly are a beautiful boot, and great value.
