Nearly 1 to 1 Replica of OEM Blades!
I ordered this mulching blade set for my LM2156SP that is presently in its third season of use. The existing blades are still perfectly usable but could use a sharpening. I will probably alternate between the originals and these replacement blades year to year, sharpening the out of use set in-between uses. Overall, these blades seem very well made, basically a nearly perfect 1 to 1 replication of the original Ego blades aside from color. Replacement is an easy swap, they fit without issue or play. The only real difference for these blades I can callout is that these blades seem sharper new then I remember the original Ego’s being. At a savings of almost 30% these blades seem like a great value over the OEM ones.
I’ll be honest that I my brain kept asking questions about my choice that were all quite dark in regards to what could happen if something happened. When I compared them to the OEM, the only differences were the lack of EGO green and the shiny smooth blade compared to my 3yr old (multiple sharpening) set.
I’m happy to say that the fit was PERFECT on the replacements and swapping was very easy. I spent WAY more time cleaning old grass out than I did for the time to replace them.
I’ve added a final shot of the lawn after. I’m very happy to say that the grass looks great and appears to be at least as sharp as my old ones were after sharpening them. Time will tell on how long they last between sharpening, but I see no reason to think that these aren’t just as durable as the originals and cost 30% less at the end of the day!
Good replacement but a little thinner.
These blades are almost identical to EGO’s stock mulching upper and lower blades. What is the difference you might ask. These are thinner. How much thinner? Not enough for me to send them back. I figure they will probably work well.
Sharp 800 Series mulching blade suitable for replacement or as a spare
My lawn is growing quickly, so it’s time to mow and keep up with maintenance. My EGO 800 series mower still has its original blade, but I like having a spare so I can keep one sharpened and ready to use.
This 21″ dual blade improves airflow under the mower, helping keep clippings suspended longer for repeated cutting and a finer mulch. The extended tabs on the back are designed to support this process, while the second blade adds extra mulching performance.
The blades arrived well packaged and noticeably sharp. Installation was simple: remove the retaining bolts and washers, swap the blade while confirming the correct cutting direction, and reinstall everything in reverse order. In testing, the blade was well balanced and produced no vibration. Performance was better than I expected. Cutting about one-third of the grass height (approximately 1 inch) produced a fine mulch comparable to the standard EGO blade, and the cut was clean, likely because of the blade’s sharp edge.
If you need a replacement or backup blade for your EGO 800 series mower, this is a solid option.
Fills the Bag
Not that it was overly complex to install it still would have been nice to have some install instructions, and torque specs. Docking 1 star for that.
You will need an adapter kit if your mower only has 1 blade from factory.
As far as use, its absolutely a noticeable difference from the single blade that came with my used mower. The bag would fill twice as much doing the lawn, and the cut was so much more crisp.

The Fismiuta AB2101D Lawn Mower Blade kit of two blades are for use only in Select Cut Ego mowers. I have a pair of LM2130’s and thought it would be good to have another spare set of blades on hand so I could swap a blade set out and resharpen the old set later. I’ve found them to be good replacement blades that produce a cut quality that is as good as OEM.
When the blades are stacked against an OEM set they nest together perfectly and they look exactly the same less the black paint. Blade thickness was essentially the same, with the upper blades measuring the same and the lower OEM blade being .010 to .020″” thicker, most likely from the thicker paint coating. They’re as sharp as Ego blades out of the box. I prefer a sharper blade so the new blade set was hand filed to a better edge, and didn’t note any difference in the toughness of the steel of the blade.
I mounted them up and they were a perfect fit. I bought the Select Cut series mower because the cut quality is two steps better than a single blade mower, and this set gives just as clean a cut as the OEM blade set. Mulched grass was cut just as fine, and the newly cut lawn looked like a smooth green carpet.
In the end I couldn’t distinguish a difference between the Ego Select Cut blades and this replacement set. They’re a good functional set of replacement blades at a decent discount.
