I was pleasantly surprised, given the price, with the quality of both the fabric and the grommets. For around $11 apiece, you get three VERY large bunting pieces, a full three feet tall and six feet wide. The grommets are set well in the hem, so these should hold up when used outdoors.
The colors are accurate and intense, with strong saturation on the blue and red. The fabric is a medium-weight polyester. You may want to spend some time fluffing and repleating and flattening the bunting once it emerges from its tiny bag, so it hangs with correct gathering.
These are fully reusable year after year, not just for this semiquincentennial year. They do appear to be sturdy enough to withstand wind and rain outdoors, though they will definitely last longer used inside on a stage, podium, or front of a booth.
Overall: Decent price, good quality, bright colors, helpful size.
There’s just something about patriotic dcor when it actually looks put together instead of looking like it survived a windy clearance-bin battle.
I grabbed this 6-pack of pleated fan flags to dress up the porch and honestly, they made everything look instantly more festive without me having to go overboard decorating. The colors are bright without looking neon or cheap, and the fabric surprised me in the best way. It has a thicker, sturdier feel to it that gives the banners some weight, so they hang nicely instead of flying around wildly every time the wind picks up.
That was probably my favorite part right away — they don’t have that thin flimsy “one holiday and done” feel. The material actually feels durable enough to last through multiple seasons if you store them properly. The stitching looked solid on mine too, and the pleats held their shape nicely once hung up.
I also like that you get six of them because it makes decorating easier without trying to make a couple banners stretch across an entire porch or fence line. I used them across my front railing and they gave that classic Americana look without feeling cheesy.
Overall, these ended up looking more expensive than I expected, and they added a really nice polished touch for Memorial Day and the Fourth. Definitely one of those decorations that makes the house feel a little more cheerful the second you hang them up.
These arrived just in time for Memorial Day weekend and were an huge hit! They are nice flags, I love that they come in a pack of 4. We got several compliments on them while camping over the weekend (we had them hung up over our awning off our camper). Upon opening, they definitely need to be aired out because the creases are pretty distracting. There are intentional creases but then there were a bunch of creases just from how it was folded during transport. Not a big deal, just something to be aware of if you’re expecting to use them right away. I ended up throwing mine in the dryer on low heat for like 5 minutes which seemed to do the trick. Each flag has 3 grommets you can use to hang them up – we just used a rope which seemed to work fine but I would definitely recommend some kind of rod or pole.
The quality of the material itself seemed pretty good – not the best but not the worst either. There were a few thread frays (as you can see in the picture) but it doesn’t seem to affect anything. I do think the value is worth the price. I wish I would have gotten a picture of these hanging up, they really do look nice!
