I am pleased with this little griddle/grill. It is basically a flat grill that is fitted to a plastic stand with a thin metal cover. It will store easy once disassembled.
I used it immediately and was happy with how well it heated. I had it on 2.5 and water sizzled within a couple minutes. i like that I have the option of grill marks or flat. It is easy to clean and sears nicely.
The grease drawer is a little cumbersome and there is nothing keeping the parts of the grill together if you bump it. I do really like the release lever on the control. It makes it so easy to detach!
Although I am happy with the grill and it works well it is on the “less expensive” side in its parts but it has an expensive price for what you are getting. I personally think it is overpriced.
The fact that it breaks down into many pieces for easy storage keeps it at 4 stars.
It is made from a hard plastic
Super lightweight and easy to assemble. No tools were needed. It is primarily made of hard plastic. The griddle and lid are not plastic. I’d feel more comfortable if the portion under the griddle wasn’t plastic. The griddle portion itself has four legs that nestle into the bottom portion without the cooking surface actually touching the plastic base. It plugs in and the temperature is easy to adjust. It has a griddle portion and grill portion (half and half). For the price, I’d expect it to be made from something other than plastic.
It’s ok for what it is
It does the job — heats up fine, temperature control works, and the non-stick surface cleans up easy. Nothing wrong with the actual grilling performance.
The bottom is plastic, which I wasn’t thrilled about. But it does have built-in legs on the base so you can pop the top off the stand and use it as a tabletop grill, which is actually a nice option if you don’t want to deal with the stand. Honestly I liked it better as a tabletop setup.
It’s a decent little grill for apartment balconies or camping where you just need something small and portable. Just don’t expect anything heavy duty.
Great grill
I accidentally put it together wrong which in turn broke it a little bit lol. But the actual grill itself is still fine and usable. Its just super short now lol. It heats my food evenly. Its a great option for a grill if you cant have a gas grill. I wish I could have the spice holder but thats what I broke accidentally by putting it on wrong. Definitely look closely at the instructions. It has a decent weight to it so I don’t see it falling over. It looks like a normal grill. Its easy to clean. Very easy to put away and store too! Overall its a great little grill.
