    Cheap and Portable
An cheap 150″ screen. However, it’s more a semi-transparent sheet with channels shown on than a screen. To mount it, you need to slide the sides down the stands and then feed the top and bottom through before connecting the cross rods to the stands. All tubing is made of 12″ pieces that are screwed together. Not idea but it does let everything collapse in to a small duffel making it highly portable. No idea how durable it will be long turn, but the use of the sheet like material should allow you to avoid wrinkles from folding.

Great Projector Screen For The Outdoors!
I’ve used it both while camping and for watching things in the backyard, and it has worked really well in both situations.

I paired it with a small portable projector, and the large 150 inch size made the whole setup feel much more like a real outdoor theater. The picture showed up clearly, nice and bright on the screen, and the screen gave us plenty of viewing space without needing to crowd around it.

Setup was straightforward. Stability wise it feels great. Once everything was in place it feels pretty sturdy. It’s also easy to take back down and pack into the included carrying bag, which makes it convenient for travel or storing between uses.

This is a really nice, very portable and practical screen that works great for camping, backyard movie nights, or anywhere else you want a larger viewing setup without installing something permanent. Maybe even a basement!

    Huge projector scree
This projector screen is much larger than I expected! I read the dimensions before ordering, but I didn’t fully realize just how big it would be until I set it up. It has been perfect for outdoor movie nights, especially when my kids are swimming—we can easily see the picture from across the yard.

The frame is sturdy once assembled, but I wouldn’t recommend trying to put it together alone. Having one or two extra people to help makes the setup much easier, especially because of the screen’s size. It also comes with ropes, stakes, and a storage bag, which are nice additions for transporting and securing everything.

The screen material seems durable and looks like it would be easy to wipe down or wash if it gets dirty. One thing to keep in mind is the wind. I live in West Texas, where it’s often breezy, and even with the included ropes and stakes, strong winds can move the screen around. It works best on calm evenings or in a more sheltered area. Overall, it’s a great value if you have the space and want a large screen for outdoor movie nights.

Golden Review Award: 1 From Our UsersLarge portable screen with easy setup
This 150 inch projector screen makes a strong first impression with its size and simple design. The frame feels lightweight but sturdy, and the screen material has a clean look that appears ready for both indoor and outdoor use. It comes across as a practical option for creating a big viewing experience without a permanent setup.

I set it up in a backyard setting and also tested it indoors to see how it handled different environments. Assembly was done solo using the tool free frame, and I tried both front and rear projection to check versatility. I also paid attention to stability outdoors with the included stakes and lines.

Setup is straightforward, and the elastic cord frame makes it quick to put together. The screen surface does a good job displaying a clear image with decent color and viewing angles. The large size works well for group viewing. Outdoors, the added stakes and guy lines help with stability, though it still performs best in low wind conditions. The fabric resists wrinkles fairly well, but careful setup helps keep it looking smooth.

Overall, this is a solid portable screen for casual movie nights and events. It is best suited for users who want a large, easy to set up display for backyard movies, camping, or temporary indoor setups.

Golden Review Award: 1 From Our UsersA solid value compared to more expensive outdoor screen setups
I was honestly surprised by how big this screen feels once it’s fully set up. The 150-inch size makes movie nights feel more like a real outdoor theater, especially in the backyard or while camping. The screen material looks much better than the thin, wrinkly fabric you usually get with cheaper projector screens. It stayed fairly smooth right out of the bag and gave a clean picture with good brightness and viewing angles.

Setup was easier than expected. The frame sections lock together quickly thanks to the elastic cord system, and I was able to put it together alone in about 10–15 minutes without tools. The included stakes and guy lines are definitely useful outdoors because a screen this large can catch wind easily.

Picture quality looked great with a 4K projector, and I liked that it supports both front and rear projection. Colors looked vibrant at night, and the wide viewing angle meant people sitting off to the side could still see clearly. The carry bag is also a nice touch since everything packs down surprisingly compact for something this size.

The only downside is that the stand, while stable for normal use, can still wobble a bit in stronger wind conditions, so outdoor setup works best on calmer nights. Also, because it’s so large, you’ll want a decent amount of open space.

For the price, it feels like a solid value compared to more expensive outdoor screen setups. Great for backyard movie nights, sports events, camping trips, parties, or anyone wanting a big-screen experience without permanently mounting a projector screen.

Smooth, wrinkle-free fabric when stretched on this clever, light duty frame. Works best indoors.
The clever design with bungee-style rope inside the frame’s tubes makes assembly very straightforward. everything goes together quickly without needing any tools.

The frame and stand are lightweight and are what I would consider a light-duty setup. Don’t expect them to be heavy duty like professional light stands. Because of that, this screen has limited outdoor use unless there’s no winds to deal with.

One nice thing about the design (and the most important thing when viewing a movie on it) is how smooth the fabric looks when stretched onto the frame. The frame pulls the stretchy white fabric in all four directions which smooths out any wrinkles.

Because of how wide it is (150 inches), it is best to have two people to stand it up and get it into position.

Instead of using it as a projection screen, I’m using it in my photo studio as a huge white reflector and its works perfectly. It can also be used as a shoot-through diffuser to soften a harsh light source.

    Perfect for Family Movie Nights
This outdoor projector screen has been an incredible addition to our backyard entertainment setup. The screen is large, easy to see from a distance, and creates a true theater-like experience at home. Whether we’re watching movies, sporting events, or family videos, the viewing experience has been fantastic.

Setup was easier than expected, and I appreciated that the kit included everything necessary to get started. The frame feels lightweight yet stable once assembled, and the screen material stretches nicely to create a smooth viewing surface with minimal wrinkles.

Image quality is impressive, with bright colors and clear details when paired with a decent projector. The large size allows everyone to enjoy the show comfortably, even when seated farther away. It’s also portable enough to move and store when not in use. Overall, this screen offers outstanding value and is perfect for outdoor gatherings, parties, and family movie nights.

Golden Review Award: 1 From Our UsersBackyard Movie Nights Just Got an Upgrade
Nothing really beats a summer night outside with a movie playing, snacks in hand, and everyone just relaxing under the stars. It has become one of those simple traditions we look forward to, so when our old projector screen finally gave out after years of use, we knew we had to replace it with something solid.

This 150 inch outdoor projector screen turned out to be a definite upgrade. Right out of the box, it felt like it was built with more care than our previous setup. The stand is surprisingly sturdy, which matters a lot when you are dealing with outdoor setups where even a light breeze can turn things into a wrestling match.

What really stood out is how tight and smooth the screen pulls. No wrinkles, no weird sagging spots, just a clean viewing surface that actually makes the picture look sharper and more professional. It honestly feels closer to a backyard theater than just a DIY setup.

Setup was straightforward and did not turn into one of those “why did we start this” moments, which is always a win. It also packs back down easily into the carry bag, which makes storage and transport simple when we are not using it.

We have not had a full season with it yet, but first impressions are great. It already feels like it is going to get a lot of use this summer for movie nights, weekend hangouts, and probably a few spontaneous get togethers.

Overall, it is a big step up from what we had before and makes outdoor movie nights feel a little more special without adding a lot of hassle.

Just like the drive in !
I was skeptical to order the Qoolfoto 150″ Outdoor screen for one reason…..it goes outside. I live in Maine on a windy hillside, so I figured that would be a problem. It is, but the screen is easy to anchor down in tough environments, and has already proven itself a survivor. The frame is lightweight when assembled, which took minutes, and is fairly sturdy. I know that because it was still standing after a day of use on my hill….lol. It’s important to note that this screen comes with ground stakes, and wire to hold it steady, and they work…..excellent. The size of the screen is impressive, as is the quality of the image on the screen, which I believe is due to the wrinkle free fabric that is fairly heavyweight, and not as thin as I had imagined. The best part ? After everyone had gone home, and the movie night ended, we simply folded it up, and stashed it in the included carry bag, and put it in the closet for our next movie night ! It took minutes to fold up and bag, and I have the peace of mind that it will be safe until we need it again….soon I hope. I love this screen, and with the right projector the detail is amazing. Better than the drive in !

Big Screen Experience with Easy Tool-Free Assembly
The Qoolfoto 150-inch outdoor projector screen is a large portable screen designed for backyard movie nights, home theater setups, camping, parties, and temporary indoor viewing. The 16:9 size gives it a true big-screen feel, making it a strong option for group viewing when a smaller screen would not have the same impact.

The wrinkle-resistant fabric, front and rear projection support, and wide viewing angle add to its flexibility. The stand uses an elastic-cord frame system for tool-free assembly, which is helpful when setting it up for casual events or moving it between indoor and outdoor spaces. The included carry bag, ground stakes, and guy lines also make it more practical for outdoor use, though a screen this large will always perform best in calm weather with enough room to set it up properly.

    Pros

    * Large 150-inch size creates a strong backyard cinema or event-viewing experience

    * Supports both front and rear projection for more setup flexibility

    * Tool-free frame design makes assembly and takedown more approachable

    * Carry bag, stakes, and guy lines add portability and outdoor stability

    Cons

    * Large size requires plenty of setup space

    * Outdoor use is best in low-wind conditions

    * Easier to position with two people due to the screen width

In a typical use case, this would work well for backyard movie nights, camping trips, family gatherings, indoor parties, presentations, or temporary home theater setups. As someone with a background in production, I also see practical value in the large white surface for creative uses beyond movie watching, such as diffusion, bounce, or simple background applications in controlled settings.

    Final Thoughts

The Qoolfoto 150-inch projector screen is best for anyone who wants a portable, oversized screen for indoor or outdoor entertainment without installing a permanent display. Its large 16:9 viewing area, wrinkle-resistant fabric, front and rear projection support, tool-free stand, carry bag, ground stakes, guy lines, and wide viewing angle make it useful for backyard cinemas, camping, parties, and group viewing. Entertainment, brightness, and stability are especially important with a screen this large, since the viewing experience depends on having enough screen presence for a crowd, a projector bright enough for the environment, and a properly anchored frame for outdoor use. The value is in getting a big, flexible screen setup that can turn an ordinary space into a more immersive viewing experience while still packing away when not in use.
