Well made yet light weigh
I wasn’t sure about buying a stainless steel hose…but… I’m glad I did. So far it’s easy to use, doesn’t kink (of course) and seems strong enough that it will last long without any issues
Well, this is the second one I have ordered the first one that I ordered was a 5/8 diameter hose in 75 foot to reach my hose storage bin out in my backyard however this one was supposed to be a 3/4″ diameter hose, but is very funny. It looks exactly the same as the 5/8 that I received before I am really hoping that it is truly a 3/4″ hose and not just another 5/8. Other than that. They are very nice and I did notice when I was stringing it out. It did not kink it did tangle amongst itself, but never kinked which will come in handy for the one that I have out front to water my flowerbeds out front.. Price wise I believe these are a good value for something that is going to last and being stainless steel. Should not have to worry about these hoses, rupturing due to the fact that the material gets hot and weak when put under pressure. About my only complaint is not being sure that I actually received the 3/4″ diameter hose that I purchased and really don’t want to take the time to send it back as it did not cost much more than my 5/8 hose did
Perfect hose for sun use. This hose replaces a rubber hose that dry rotted from intense sun. Tough metal casing reflects heat and helps keep water cooler, too. Good length to reach sprinkler and not nearly as heavy as the rubber hose…and no kicking! Rools up compactly and easily without twisting, tangling or kinks. Hangs well for storage and brass fittings are strong. No leaks and delivers good pressure. Good value for cost.
This is a great water hose. I’ve had standard rubber hoses and also the kind that retract once they’re empty and this hose by far is the best I’ve had. It is heavier then the retractable ones of course since those are made out of fabric but this one makes up for it being so durable – also it’s actually lighter then a rubber hose. Hopefully this one will last us several years compared to all the other ones we’ve went through constantly busting and cracking. It doesn’t kink or leak and can get twisted up a little but doesn’t get into a tangled mess like most water hoses.
I absolutely love it, it doesn’t kink- up, extremely light and travels easily through rocks and around corners. I just wish the inside hole was larger than 3/4 of an inch
After trying a bunch of different hoses–‘Heavy duty’, ‘heat resistant’, ‘flexible’, ‘non-kinking’, etc., this is the only one that has delivered on all of these promises.
Living in southern Arizona, the sun is relentless and breaks down rubber and plastic, no matter how ‘heavy duty’ they are supposed to be. Plus, we have ornamental rock in our yard, and dragging rubber or plastic hoses over the rocks inevitably breaks them down.
But this metal hose solves all those problems and more. It’s also incredibly light-weight and easy to use–no more tugging and dragging a heavy hose behind me. And so far, no leaks, but we’ve just been using it a short time; only time will tell how well it will hold up.
And a bonus … even my husband, who’s complained about every single hose I’ve bought, said he LOVES this hose. Finally, a winner! Also, the price was right–not even as much as some of the ‘heavy duty’ hoses I’ve tried. We liked it so much I ordered a second one to use in the front of the house as well.
I bought one of these and then bought two more. They are far better than the ones listed on TV. They don’t shrink up as small when turned off, but are very light, flexible, and don’t tangle. My wife loves them, too.
