Product description

Fun way to have outdoor movies. Sturdy if secured correctly with fasteners and ropes.
We wanted this screen so we could use a projector to show outdoor movies sometimes to kids and sometimes as movie nights for adults just as a fun outside event for friends and neighbors.
When I first received the package I didn’t believe it could be the screen because it was in such a small bag. But it sets up just fine, the pole sections slip into each other easily and it’s fairly easy to set up, especially after you’ve done it the first time. Setting up can probably be done in 5 minutes once you know how to do it and have a regular place where you set it up. Take down can be done in about 3 minutes.
We often have wind blowing through our back yard so I definitely needed to use the ropes to hold the screen in place. It’s nice that the stands the vertical poles sit on are square and give the poles some stability while you’re attaching the ropes. If there is any amount of wind it really helps if you can have a second person to hold it up while the ropes are in the process of being secured.
The screen is clean and does a good job showing the video being projected. Some pictures are attached of a kid movie night. The sun hadn’t fully set yet so it was still fairly light out but the screen still worked great. I wanted to take the pictures before it became too dark so everything would show up in the pictures, but normally we would have waited until it was darker before starting the movies.
The screen comes with a nice bag for storage.
Movie night time
This projector screen is quite large! Especially considering the weight and price. It comes in a little carrying case which is nice for when you’re not using it, and being able to transport it places. It’s very simple to set up but it takes a good 5-10 minutes at least to get everything together. It comes with stakes and ropes to tie it down to the ground, which you’ll definitely need because it will fall over in the slightest gust of wind.
The screen itself is nice and reflective. It can stretch which helps get rid of wrinkles, but it really only holds at the top of the screen. The bottom doesn’t have anything to hold onto so it will bunch up. I want to come up with a way to hold it so it can stretch flat. It’s not really that bad, but I want it to be as perfect as possible.
Overall, it’s decent value for the price, but it does feel pretty cheap and is kind of an annoying setup (hard to do with one person because of the way the poles piece together). I’m excited to use it for movie night regardless
I ordered this for an unusual reason. As a scoutmaster headed to scout camp for two weeks, I wanted to give our scouts a couple of movie nights in the forest. I already owned a small portable projector, and this screen brought our Goonies movie night dream to life beautifully. The picture was clear and bright, the screen had no wrinkles, and the frame assembled easily with plenty of height to stay visible for our scouts and the other troops camped around us. It packed down easily afterward and wiped clean when the forest dust settled on the white surface. The carry bag made the whole thing simple to transport.
My one caveat is that the feet aren’t quite sufficient if you’re setting up on a breezy evening, even with the included ground spikes. The screen turns into a giant wing, and even when it doesn’t tip over, it’ll flap around enough to distract from the movie. Since scouts are always prepared, we solved it quickly by adding a couple of paracord guy lines to the top corners of the frame, which locked it down nicely. With that small addition, it was rock solid for the rest of the trip. Very pleased with this, and it’ll be making the trip again next year. Highly recommended!
After using wall mounted projector screens in the past, switching to this projector screen with a floor stand has been a game changer. The biggest advantage is the flexibility. It can be set up where you need it and taken down just as quickly when you’re finished. There’s no permanent installation to deal with, which makes it much more practical for a variety of situations. No more nails, velcro or screws to worry about.
The stand feels sturdy and stable with a solid and well built all metal construction. It can be used both indoors and quickly move it outside for backyard entertainment with ease. The frame provides a solid foundation for the large screen. The included stakes and support accessories are a nice addition for outdoor use if you need to place it in the grass for those Texas windy days.
The screen material itself produces a clean, bright image with good clarity across the entire viewing area. I also like that the fabric folds for storage without becoming permanently wrinkled, helping maintain a smooth viewing surface each time it’s used.
Setup is straightforward and can be completed in just a few minutes without tools. Once finished, everything packs neatly into the included carry bag, making transportation and storage simple.
Overall, the floor mounted design is what truly sets this screen apart. Being able to position it exactly where I want and remove it just as easily adds a level of convenience that a wall-mounted screen simply can’t match. For anyone looking for a portable large screen solution, this is an excellent option.
A great screen that packs small
I thought mine was missing items it came in such a small package but it wasn’t. Everything is there. Even guide ropes! We finally used it on the 4th. Easy to set up we managed to get the top of it tight but there were wrinkles along the bottom. I went and got more stakes and ropes from a tent and staked out the bottom and that took care of it. I think adding some sand bags that you can fill on site might help with it. We were able to stretch it pretty well though. It is reflective so our movie looked great, much better than a sheet according to my nephew. I think it’s a great deal and I’m glad we picked it up.
