I like these alot and I am glad I bought them. They are rougher than I thought they would be, and exfoliate well. I washed them on the gentle cycle with cold water and put them in the dryer on low for a few minutes and they came out great, with the same feel afterwards. I like that they are made by a European company, and I wish they had more things that I need: I will keep checking. Also, the item was very nicely packaged! Thank you!

Listen, I realize most people want their bath linens to feel like they’re being gently cuddled by a sentient cloud. Not me. I don’t want a “fluffy” washcloth that holds onto water and stays damp until the next leap year.
I wanted a towel that was thin, substantial, and had some actual integrity. This linen towel is exactly that. It’s got a uniform weave so tight and high-quality it makes my old terry cloth towels look like they’ve completely given up on life.
It’s the daily towel I’ve been hunting for. It does its job, doesn’t demand a specialized drying cycle, and actually has the decency to be bone-dry by morning. It passes every one of my mental “Is this actually worth owning?” filters with flying colors. If you’re tired of playing “will it ever dry?” with your bathroom laundry, buy this. It’s thin, it’s tough, and it’s staying in my rotation.
I wanted a really small face towel. I hate face towels that take up a lot of space, especially because I always use a clean one so I have a lot of them. I also just use them with face cleaner, I don’t do anything fancy. I was using really cheap ones from Target that were extremely thin but this is what I liked about them. This one is even smaller than those. When they arrived they were slightly above 8 inches but after using, they shrunk to 7 inches and after washing and drying, they shrunk a quarter of inch more. I don’t mind, it’s still big enough and small enough I don’t have to fold them, and if I do fold them, they will be very tiny which is a win win in my book.
This was a really big upgrade but I like it a lot. I especially like the hanging loop, it is a nice touch. I cut the tags out and they look nicer. I love linen and understand how it works but if you have not used linen products before, you might not like it. They are very wrinkley and messy looking but I think natural and pretty. I used these straight out of the box and they felt wiry and pretty good for exfoliating but after washing and drying once they are much much softer and not good for exfoliation. I suppose that would be good for the regular towels especially. If you get the towels, definitley wash before use. I am considering making it a set as I am kind of in the market for new towels.
They sudsed fine for me but I sudsed them on my face, it’s not easy to get it to foam up on the cloth first. I normally do it this way anyways.
This is exactly the right product needed for washing your face gently with a natural material. It’s slightly softer than sisal wash cloths and a lot softer than nylon or loofah products. If your looking for a body wash cloth, look for the larger size. This is a quality made cloth that’s appropriate for gently washing faces.
All of my linens were lost with Hurricane Helene so replacing them has been an unwelcoming experience as I’ve collected some beautiful linens over the years. I never thought I’d find any towels better than my favorites I’ve come to love and have spent a considerable amount of time investing in researching the best replacement linens.
I discovered Thing Stories from a YouTuber who created a short yet in-depth review of these special towels and like her, I hope Thing Stories never ceases production of these towels because they’ve become my new favorite “thing”.

***NOTE; I am using these Kitchen towels as bathroom handles towels and find them generously sized for such. The last picture is with the larger bath towel. I’ve folded the 2 smaller towels and have folded the larger bath towel to provide a pocket to keep the smaller sized ones inside. These towels are perfectly & generously sized for a kitchen or bath hand towel.

Fantastic product! Use everyday to clean my face. It’s great to exfoliate or just do regular facial cleaning. It dries relatively quickly. The material seems to be durable, been using for few months now and still loving it and it’s holding up. The size is perfect for face. Highly recommend!
