Great Boards To Make Signs!
This is an excellent value pack of foam boards. You receive 10 black foam boards measuring 16″ x 20″ x 3/16″, making them perfect for a wide variety of projects!
I’ll be using them for arts and crafts! They’re also great for signs, packing materials, toolbox liners, and countless DIY projects.
These boards are easy to cut and customize, making them useful for everything from coaster backing and furniture floor protectors to bulletin boards and display projects. A versatile item that’s always handy to have around!
Very nice project board
These foam boards are nice looking, thick with a shiny plasticky outer coating. They’re great for memorial boards, projects and building. They are incredibly lightweight compared to others that have the paper outsides. I do feel that the price is a little high given that this is a bulk purchase. If purchased in single sheets, $3.50 a sheed doesn’t seem out of the question, but when purchasing 10 I think the price should be a bit lower. I also noticed that it seems that the plastic causes the board to curl a little when the temps are warmer. Something I never noticed with the other type. It’s not a big deal, but worth noting.

Since I retired I have taken up new hobbies and these will come in very handy. The size and weight is perfect for so many projects. The first will likely be as signage for my community theater plays.
Perfect Large Foam Boards Great for Projects and Displays!
I ordered this 10-pack of 16×20″ black foam boards for some photo displays and craft projects, and they’ve been fantastic. The 3/16″ thickness makes them sturdy without being too heavy, and the black color gives a clean, professional look.
They cut easily with a utility knife or scissors, and the foam core holds up well. I’ve used them for mounting photos, making signs, and even as backing for some art pieces. The acid-free claim is a nice bonus if you’re working with photos or important documents.
Having 10 boards in one pack is great value, especially when I need multiple for bigger setups. They stack and store neatly too. If you do DIY projects, photo displays, or need large foam boards for school or events, these are a solid, affordable choice. I’ll definitely be buying more!
Clean cut, solid black through the core
Good foam board. The black goes all the way through the core rather than just being a surface coating, which matters for any project where you’re cutting and the edge shows. Acid-free so it won’t yellow or off-gas if you’re mounting photos or artwork. The 3/16″ thickness is stiff without being heavy.
Surface takes adhesive and mounting tape well. Cuts cleanly with a sharp blade. Ten-pack at this size is good value for larger projects or classrooms. No complaints about warping out of the box. Solid buy for display boards, photo mounting, or art projects.
Great Pack of Foam Boards
This is a great value pack of foam boards. You get 10 16″ x 20″ x 3/16″ of black foam poster board. They are perfect for my arts and crafts projects among millions of other uses! I’ll be using these for photo background, photos, and framing old album photos since they are acid free.
I’ll also be using some for packing, my craft toolbox as a liner, for my sign I’m making for 4th of July and a host of other projects!!! They can even be cut for using as foam backing for coasters, for feet for furniture so they don’t scrape the floor, a backboard to pin notes, etc… VERY handy to have!
Arrived well packaged
Anyone who has worked with foam board knows how damaged it can get in shipping. Not this set, it came well wrapped with corner protection. The box it was in perfectly fit the boards so there was no movement that causes it to crumple. The laminate facing on the front and back is high quality and smooth, with a consistent black material. It cuts easily and smoothly. You can also use adhesive dots or strips with little to no damage. These work well for mounting insect specimens as well.
Good boards. We got exactly what we expected.
These boards are firm, but not brittle so they can take a fair amount of stress. I would say the sheen level would fall into the satin/semi-gloss category so they will hold paint well. We had hoped to use these like we use a cork bulletin board, but at only 3/16″ thick the push pins are too long, so a pin-proof backing will be required for that. We do have some creative ideas for making some 3D picture frames and other art projects though. Scissors don’t work very well for cutting, but razors and X-acto knives do provide clean edged cuts so there’s a lot of potential there.
