I ordered this sunshade to help protect the interior of my car and keep the heat out and it works great! It’s perfectly fitted to the window, and it comes with a pouch that you can use to fold it into. There is a Velcro strap that goes around the rearview mirror to keep it in place. It does however cover the interior camera, so when you view it on Sentry Mode it can sometimes be partially obstructed. Adjusting it can help improve visibility, although it’s not a big issue if you don’t need to see inside the car at all times.

I am not a person who would like to write reviews very often, however, I want to write a review for this purchase because this shopping experience was unforgettable.
In the beginning, I placed an order to purchase the sunshade from another seller for my brand-new Tesla Model Y, however, the tracking information showed that I had to wait a couple of weeks to receive the product. I was in urgent need, and the first product I purchased was not designed for Model Y solely. Therefore, I canceled the order and looked around again. I decided to try this sunshade because it’s specifically designed for the Model Y. Unfortunately, Amazon lost my package during the shipping process after I had waited for more than a week. I had to request a refund and place the order again to receive this product in about 2 days.
Long story short, I am glad I did purchase this sunshade. The quality of the package and the product impressed me a lot. The product is vacuum-packed in a very thick plastic bag. It comes with a pouch for storage. It fits perfectly and blocks the UV/sunshine very well. As you can see in my video the inside becomes very dark after I hang it. This is exactly what I was looking for. Compared to other sunshades that claim to fit but end up being generic, this one surpasses them in quality and fitness. The edges of the sunshade are sewn very well, and there is no wire popping out. The fabric of the product itself is also very thick. Even though some reviews show this type of product is a bit tricky to fold at first, I feel it can be easily folded in about 10 seconds. Worth a trial for everyone who has a Tesla Model Y.
