Looks Good
Worked nicely for a small strip of grass in my front yard for my dog. It looks real and was just the right size for what I needed. it has holes in the bottom so water drains through after rain or if you wanna hose it off. I like that it has three different colors in it for a more natural look.
Great for kids play area in yard
Great piece of artificial turf. I got this to add to my granddaughters play area in the yard. I created the play area so they can play there without worrying about mud or stickers. I already had a 3×10 piece so now they have a nice size play area. This piece along with the piece I got last year are both great. This one is well made and thick so it’s comfortable for them to play on. The drainage is good also so it’s easy to wash it off and it dries quickly when it rains. It also looks really nice in the yard. It was easy to lay out and I just used landscape staples to hold it in place. It stays in place even with them running and playing on it. If you have an area of your yard that needs to be improved because it doesn’t have grass, this is a great idea.
High quality, thick turf artificial grass
I have about nine different pieces of artificial grass in varying sizes and varying thicknesses. There’s a huge disparity between different quality levels of artificial grass. Summer literally super thin sheets of plastic with a slightly rough surface that is colored green and labeled as artificial grass.
On the opposite end of the spectrum you have much thicker heavier artificial grass that is up to an inch and a half to 2 in of depth that very closely emulates real grass in both color complexity and thickness while also being drainage friendly.
This is definitely on the high end of that scale in terms of thickness complexity, realistic looking grass and quality drainage. The price is proportional for the amount of artificial grass you are getting at the current $89 price point for 3 ft by 15 ft of artificial grass.
This is comparable to the best quality artificial grass that I have bought in at Costco in the past for a comparable rate per square foot. I have many other types of thicknesses that I have received from different Amazon sellers over the past year and a half none of which are as thick as this one or the Costco one that I’ve received in the past.
So if you’re looking for an authentic thickness and quality level and realistic coloring with good drainage capacity for artificial grass in a form factor that you can either use as one long strip or cut into smaller chunks depending on the size that you need, this would be a great choice.
For Artificial Grass on a Patio Maybe better - but it works for our need!
For artifical grass, it’s not bad. Probably what you would expect. We’ve had a rough time with our back yard and with three dogs it’s hard to keep the grass in areas. My husband has been sick and I’m not really the “work in the yard” kind of gal. So This fit the bill for Just what I needed that I didn’t even know I really needed! It covers a 3 ft x 10 ft area that was just dirt and weeds where the dogs run all the time to get to the fence where the neighbors dogs call them to come bark… all day… So at least until we can get a real grass situation – We’re very happy with our artifical grass runner! Then I’ll move it to another location that needs help in the yard. It is Green, very green like well ferterlized grass. In the hot bearing sun, it gets a little warm and makes me think it could melt… but I know it’s made to be out in the weather. It feels pretty real, it looks pretty real and it was a good price for a quick fix for our desperate need. I wouldn’t call it Realistic probably, but, it’s not too much of a stretch. It came very well wrapped as a long rolled up tube as you can see in the picture. Just an easy cut open, and roll out onto the yard. Done. Happy! I’d recommend it, but Not in my front yard.
Excellent quality
This is great faux grass. T comes in a roll and you have can cut it to what size you need or order more panels to fill your area of need. I needed to patch a small area of yard that was just dirt that my dogs like to use as bathroom and hate when it gets muddy there.
And it just looked ugly
This grass matches well to another high end let grass that I have.
I love this grass as it is very thick this is not like those faux super thin fake looking patches or flat pieces of grass. This is very thick with a nice pleated backing that has drainage holes which is important.
Be sure you follow directions to lay down grass like this with proper drainage underneath
I secured mine with sand and gravel and simple grass pins to hold it down.
The grass will need so.e fluffing I used a simple rake to fluff the grass up. You don’t need rubber pellets or anything special this will fluff and stay fluffed. It has multiple colors in it that make it look so real. It moves like real grass too it is not super stiff or hard it actually feels nice under bare feet. Easy to spray clean and drains great! If actual leaves fall on it it looks even more real and it still easy to take clean just as with any grass real or fake.
Price point is not bad for the quality you get and this feels very sturdy so you won’t need to replace it for years to come.
