This is a lovely looking, well-made mirror.
I’m not really a gold person, so I wasn’t sure what to expect with this, but the brushed gold finish is very tasteful in person and doesn’t look loud or brash.
Overall, the mirror seems to be good quality. The hinges are metal, the frame is metal, and the frame holds the mirror pieces quite securely without any rattling or movement.
I also like that the hinges have been finished with the same gold as the frame so they blend in nicely.
The main panel of the mirror is pretty much the size of an LP jacket, with the two side panels being half that size each. Overall, the mirror also has some weight to it. Nothing excessive, but it’s substantial and you’ll benefit from wall anchors if you plan to hang it.
The hooks for hanging it are built into the back of the frame – not separate pieces – which will allow it to be hung flush against the wall.
There’s also a stand attached to the back that can easily withstand the weight of the mirror, and holds it stably upright at a slight angle if you prefer to use the mirror on a tabletop. Right now I’m using this with my makeshift vanity in my laundry room (don’t ask!) and just have it standing by way of the side panels being folded in a little bit, which is also an option for standing it upright.
Something else I like about the build of this is that the frame and mirror panels appear to be separate. Again, everything is securely in place, so the panels don’t jiggle or anything, but down the road, should you want to remove the mirrored panels and use this as a frame instead, it looks like this is a possibility.
The one thing of note with the mirror I received is the left side panel is ever so slightly higher than the center piece. Visually, I can’t unsee this now that I know it’s there, and you can see this in the video I attached to my review. The left panel easily swings while the main piece of the mirror and the other side panel hold the mirror upright. The misalignment is very slight though, and will probably go unnoticed by most.
Nice attractive and very functional makeup mirro
Very nice, attractive make-up mirror. My wife wanted a makeup mirror for getting ready for work and this fit the bill. It has 3 sections, one large central mirror and two side mirrors that swivel in and out. You can set it up in multiple ways. It can stand up on a table or countertop if you swing the outside mirrors in a little. It also comes with a folding, extendable bracket that allows you to set it down at an angle. Lastly, it also has two metal loops on the back with holes so you can hang it on the wall. The manufacturer was even kind enough to supply a small bag with wall screws and mollies (I think that is what they are called) for hanging it on drywall. It is actually pretty heavy so you would need them. It also folds up nicely for portability and I would recommend keeping the plastic foam insert that comes whennit is shipped so that if you need to pick it up and move it, the two side panels dont swivel over and slam into the main mirror. Again, it is heavy and well made. I have taken multiple photos as well which you can see.
