Excellent value for the price
We charged these overnight when we got them and I have to tell you I’m blown away. We bought them April 19th and it’s now a month later and I still haven’t had to charge them. They come on easily as we approach our steps and have a very nice light that you can change the color of. These are a super value for the price!
An excellent light / light and motion senso
An enclosed user manual (in English and French) has all the operations that are on the light. First, charge the light using the included USB-A to USB-C cable. It takes about 8 hours to fully charge. It will start with a red light that changes to green when charged. The light has three color temperature levels (6500 K, 4000 K, 2500 K)—which can be dimmed from 100% down to 20%—and three modes: always on; auto (for light and motion sensing when dark); and a security mode (which is a red flashing light). The light is made in China. There are three ways to use the light. The first is carrying it via the included lanyard (just feed the thin loop of the lanyard through the top back of the light, then feed the thick loop through the thin loop to have a wrist or belt-carry light). This is for the always-on mode, or maybe security to alert others for safety. The second way is propped in place on a desk or shelf, for either always on or motion sensor modes. This works well if you either 1) need a desk light; or 2) have an area without enough light that you want to switch on when you move into the area. Use the included stand by feeding it into the slots at the bottom back of the light, and adjust it to set the light upright. The motion sensor works out to about 20 feet, but requires a low light level to activate. The third mode is wall mounted, with the included screws and anchors and the stand, which fits into the wall mount. The remote is required for wall mount use, and makes the carrying or standing light easier to use. IMPORTANT: Charge the light completely, put two AA batteries (not included) in the remote, and turn the light on before using the remote. Once the light is on, the remote can turn it off or change modes, color temperature and brightness levels with clicks of the button at a range up to 26 feet. This may be of use if you want to trigger an alert from a distance. This is a versatile light that allows a plethora of choices.
Bright rechargeable motion light with flexible settings
This wireless motion sensor outdoor light provides a strong amount of brightness and works well for areas like garages yards fences and pathways. The built in rechargeable battery has a large capacity and reduces the need for frequent charging even with regular motion activation. Once mounted it delivers reliable illumination where wiring is not available.
The motion sensor reacts quickly and detects movement accurately without excessive false triggers. Having multiple lighting modes and adjustable color temperature is a helpful feature and allows you to switch between warmer or cooler light depending on preference. The remote control makes adjustments easy without needing to climb or access the fixture directly.
The light housing feels solid and the IP65 waterproof rating has proven dependable after exposure to rain and outdoor conditions. Installation is quick since it does not require wiring and mounts securely on most surfaces. The design is simple and blends in well without drawing too much attention during the day.
Based on common feedback for lights in this category the brightness is impressive for a battery powered unit but using the highest settings will shorten runtime between charges. For frequent high traffic areas occasional recharging is expected.
Overall this is a good choice if you want a powerful motion activated outdoor light with flexible controls and easy installation. It works especially well for improving visibility and safety in outdoor areas without the hassle of running electrical lines.
