Wow! I just used this for the first time at a festival in PA that got hit with a pretty nasty storm. A mistake on my end caused a significant amount of water to get under the tent and in between the tarp layer, like I was walking on a giant liquid bubble yet the ground of the inside of the tent stayed dry. Winds were decent and the tent held up beautifully. It’s also even bigger than I pictured it would be. I’m really really happy with this purchase! It’s technically very easy and pretty fast to put together, getting up as a single 5’6 person was definitely doable as well! It breaks down super small, is easy to transport, the poles and stakes seem to be of quite good quality

Suggestion: always go through Amazon for issues or returns; don’t contact the company directly unless Amazon directs you to. This tent is designed for summer; its materials offer waterproofing, but not for heavy rains. The price, ample ventilation, and cooling color ensure comfort. Setup is basic, and attaching it to your car is straightforward. This tent delivers value for its price point—a great tent for a weekend camper. Winds above 25 gust will be an issue. Make sure to use the rainfly and the guy lines provided for wind resistance; that is what they are for. I added detachable guy lines to the sides for added wind security. It helps prevent the sides from billowing in. Definitely use a heavy-duty footprint under the tent, and tuck it underneath so it doesn’t stick out from under the tent to help with waterproofing. Materials are questionable for longevity, just being honest.I do think I overpaid for what I got, especially for the tear that it came with. I received a new one without having to return the first one to China; that’s where good customer service comes in. Would I recommend it? If you’re looking for an SUV tent to test out camping, it’s a good starter. For long-term use, I recommend shopping around for higher quality.

I absolutely love this tent! For the privacy that it gives you and the space particularly in a rainy situation. I also like that there’s more ventilation since I actually sleep in the car and don’t wanna have to close it up. The only difficulty is setting it up by yourself. I had to do some finagling to be able to set it up by myself. Other than that, it is a stellar product.
