Water Table has been an absolute hit in our house! It keeps my kids entertained for hours, especially on warm days. Fun and useful
Playing with this three tier water table keeps my kids busy for hours in the backyard. Multiple levels allow several children to splash at once without bumping into each other. Setting up the adjustable umbrella is a life saver on hot summer days to provide much needed shade. Every accessory like the fishing game and sand toys feels sturdy enough for rough outdoor use. Most parents will love that the height is perfect for toddlers to reach every section easily. Moving water between the different basins creates a fun sensory experience that helps with motor skills. Sturdy legs keep the whole unit stable even when it is completely filled with water and sand. Clean up is relatively fast because the plastic surfaces wipe down quickly after playtime is over.
Perfect for my toddle
I really like this water table for my two year old but there are some important things to know.
First and foremost this is small and best for toddlers. The title does say that so I appreciate the transparency but it’s important to remember that there are other water tables that would be great for even kids up to the 5 or 6 year range, but this one is shorter and less wide than some of those.
That said, this is the PERFECT size for 2 or 3 year olds- the umbrella is a lovely addition and works great for my son’s age and size. The other great things about this are:
-no tools needed, the pieces all interlock and it’s fairly simple to assemble
-there are tons of accessories which always adds to the imaginative play and keeping the fun going for a long time!
-everything is bright and fun
-the smaller size makes this easy to move around so we can play with it on the porch, or in the front yard…it’s so light and easy to transport that I can even stick this in my vans back seat and take it to my mom’s
Now to the big con:
-the price, that’s the big one…it just doesn’t fully align with the quality or size
To expand on this, you can get a name brand water table that feels sturdier and more well made for the same price. It would also be bigger and last through more stages of life. The pieces of this are totally fine, but they are so light they feel borderline cheap. I think they’ll still hold up fortunately, because plastic is generally durable regardless, but for the price I’d expect a better feel to this OR it would be totally fine as is, if the price better reflected this. $40 would be the best fitting price in my opinion.
I’m only deducting one star for that but I think it needs to be taken into consideration if this is in your budget for what it is.
I love it for my guys current size. And admittedly even though it’s little my 7 year old can still enjoy this with him. But again, please consider the needs of your family and at the very least, keep your eye on the listing to try to snag it on sale.
This keeps 4 stars for me because my toddler can play with this for hours, he really loves it. There are also again,SO many accessories! This is perfect for spring, summer, & autumn and I know we will get tons of use out of it as a water table & sensory table in general as I plan to also alternate this with sand and other materials to keep it interesting.
Overall this is a fun & easy to assemble water table that is perfect for little ones!
Great choice for sensory in early childhood classrooms
