Pleasantly Surprised
I wanted to light up a couple trees without running wires, and the 4000mAh battery plus 3-in-1 mounting (stake/tie/hang) made them stand out.
Setup was easy. I staked most of them and used the adjustable angle to aim the light up the trunks just right. For one awkward spot I used the tie strap and it held tight. They feel sturdy and have held up fine through rain.
The battery life impressed me. They run a solid 8–10 hours even after partly cloudy days, way better than cheaper solar lights I’ve tried. The RGBW colors are vibrant, the warm white is a nice soft tone, and the slow fade mode is fun.
They blend into the landscaping during the day and give a clean uplight effect at night. For easy, wireless landscape lighting that actually performs, these are worth it. No regrets.
Great uplighting, but....
I really like these, they’re well made, and have a huge solar panel that you can charge indoors or use the panel to power the lights. Brightness is nice, and it definitely looks more professional than some of the spotlights I’ve used in the past. I like that you can change colors, but they’re kind of limited in the selection. I would love if i could pick the colors to cycle through (like just red and green for Christmas) and wish I could have a slower breathing mode, so they gradually change, but again, I like the lights. Pricing is a little high at 90 bucks, as you can buy four individual lights for that. And that’s where my only real issue with this set is. We tried to originally place around our huge oak tree — the wires between the lights are fixed. You can’t extend like you can with individual lights, or if they provided more wire/jumpers – so the lights would not wrap around the tree – the four lights would only illuminate one side of this massive tree. Might not impact most installations, but you should be aware and measure where you plan to put these first. There’s only a little over a foot of cable between each light (but the cable to the solar panel is extremely long, so you can place that in the sun if the place you’re putting the lights is shaded).

I love these lights, they have different modes to change the color of the lights, with a lot of brightness and a long duration, the best thing is that they are solar powered and do not need an electrical connection.
