As a stained glass artist, I’m always interested in products that can save time without sacrificing quality, and these pre-bent zinc circles do exactly that. Bending zinc into a smooth, consistent circle can be surprisingly frustrating, so having ready-made frames available in multiple sizes is a real convenience.
The circles arrived well-shaped and maintained their form without obvious flat spots or kinks. The zinc feels sturdy enough to provide good support for suncatchers and circular stained glass projects while still being workable during assembly. I tested several sizes and found them to be consistent and ready to use right out of the package.
I especially appreciate the variety of diameters included. Having multiple sizes on hand opens up a lot of design possibilities, from simple sun catchers to more elaborate decorative panels.
If you regularly create round stained glass pieces, these can save a significant amount of prep time and help achieve a cleaner, more professional-looking finish.
This is absolute perfection. I really couldn’t be any happier with this set.
Whoever made these actually understands stained glass and how frustrating zinc can be when it arrives warped, scratched, oxidized, or slightly off-round. These came pieces are clean. Not a hint of pitting, no oxidation, no scratches, no dents from shipping.
The circles are consistent and properly round too. If the frame is even slightly off, you end up chasing that problem through the entire piece while trying to solder and fit everything cleanly. These sit flat.
The pre-bent aspect alone is such a massive time saver. Bending your own zinc for circles is doable, obviously, but it’s also one of those things that can quietly eat up your half your evening and ALL your patience. Being able to grab a clean ring and immediately start planning the panel straight away is absolutely fantastic.
I also really love the finish on these. They solder beautifully and take patina well without any inconsistencies. The quality feels professional grade instead of hobby-store-adjacent.

I’ve been doing stained glass for several years now and do make a significant number of circular panels. I actually bought a came bender in order to bend zinc to place around my panels. I was impressed at this offering and decided to try it. I’m used to working with 3/8 inch to 1/2 inch zinc came for a panel support. This is 1/4 inch which I’ve never used for a large panel. Due to this, I will plan more connection points with the panel and designing for these frames.
I was very impressed with how perfect all of the rounds were. There’s no sign of oxidation of any of the metal. There were no floors or scratches. The pieces were absolutely pristine. This is a definite time saver and although the pieces come as specific sizes they certainly can be cut to fit smaller pieces if necessary. With the cost of metal being as high as it is and how well done these are I can certainly recommend.
I’m really happy with this set of pre-bent circular zinc frames.
They arrived in perfect condition—no dents, kinks, or warping, which is a big deal with zinc. You get 5 sizes (12″, 14″, 16″, 18″, and 20″), with 2 of each size for a total of 10 pieces.
These are standard 1/4″ U-channel came, so they’re ideal for edging circular stained glass pieces.
Having them pre-bent is such a time saver. I was working on a 10″ round piece and trimmed down one of the 12″ rings to fit—it cut cleanly, soldered beautifully, and took patina really well.
They’re sturdy, consistent, and make finishing circular pieces so much easier and cleaner.
This set of round, pre bent zic came frames in nesting sizes is a great value. It’s a thinner cane, it can work with large pieces of cut glass but they might need more attachment points than I’d usually do on the biggest rings in the set.
The rings are smooth, sturdy, and well made, each ring is flat and has a uniform diameter. The quality is good. These frames are appropriate to use for commissioned pieces.
