This is a really nice tent with nice features. When we got it this weekend there is still snow and ice on the ground so my grandkids had us set it up on our front porch so they can check it out. They are calling it their secret agent hideout. It sets up really fast and easy. I like the screen roof so you can star gaze and then has a cover easy to put over to water proof the roof. The screens in windows are nice and easy to use as well as the solid covers. I haven’t been able to test water proofing yet. Grandkids played in it for hours and can’t wait for summer to camp with papa in yard. Quality is nice easy to put up and take down. Can fit tent easily back in bag but not as easy to fit the extras that come with it back in bag but that is minor thing. The cover tent pegs and other add ons are great. Good tent and grandkids love it.
I had time to put the tent up today in my backyard. It was easy to set up by myself. The quality is good. It took a little longer than the description says but I can say after the first time you should be able to put it up in a few minutes by yourself! Taking it down by yourself is no problem. I’m sure after a few times it will get easier getting it in the bag. Over all I feel this tent is well worth the money, especially since there has been a big price drop this week!!
Fantastic, easy setup tent! We were impressed with the ease of setup only taking less than 5 minutes to completely setup. Exceptional quality fabric, sturdy zippers and quite roomy. We love the open top without the rain fly! Will be nice and cool to sleep in this summer. And you can see the stars! Stores in a nice duffle bag and is lightweight to carry. Would definitely recommend.
This tent was super easy to set up. Took about 5 min to unload and set up (in basement). I’m sure adding the rain tarp would take another 5-10 min also. It’s 8′ by 8′ and about 5′ height on the inside of the tent. All the windows/doors have full shade and bug mesh liner. Also a hook at the top for lantern/light. Large door when fully unzipped. Quite happy with it so far as kids play with it in basement hope to get it outside once it warms up.
Awesome product. I bought this tent mainly because I wanted something easy and fast to set up, and it really delivers on that. The instant setup is probably the best feature. You can get it up in about a minute, which makes a huge difference when you’re camping with family or trying to set up quickly at the beach, lakeside, or a campsite.
I wouldn’t say I’ve tested it in extreme storm conditions or super hardcore heavy-duty camping, so I can’t honestly say it’s the kind of tent you’d want to rely on for rough mountain weather or serious survival camping. But for regular weekend trips, family camping, beach days, lake trips, hiking breaks, or casual outdoor use, this tent is awesome.
The size is comfortable for a small family, and it feels very convenient to carry and pack. The rainfly is a nice bonus, and the overall design feels practical. What I like most is that it saves time and stress. Instead of fighting with poles and instructions like you’re trying to assemble furniture from another planet, you can actually enjoy the trip.
For anyone looking for a tent that is quick to set up, easy to use, portable, and great for normal outdoor adventures, I would definitely recommend this one. If you want something for weekend family camping by the beach or lake, this tent can beat a lot of other tents on the market. Great product and definitely worth buying.
Kleines Packma, einfacher Aufbau, einfach genial
Bei jedem Strandurlaub fehlte bisher solch ein Pop-Up Zelt / Strandmuschel. Doch schnell im Urlaub kaufen, ohne zuvor Bewertungen einzusehen, wollte ich nicht. Dieses Mal waren wir besser vorbereitet und haben diese Strandmuschel bestellt. Zu Hause im Wohnzimmer extra mal probeweise auf und abgebaut. Was soll ich sagen, es war auch zu Hause fr das Kind ein Riesen Spa. Beides, Aufbau und Abbau sind super einfach, beim zweiten Mal.
Dann vor kurzem der erste Einsatz am Strand. Aufbau super einfach, haben keine Heringe (im Lieferumfang enthalten) genutzt, sondern nur Sand (davon gab es genug) in die Seitentaschen geschaufelt. Die Muschel stand super stabil, selbst bei Wind. Auch war ein verschieben spter noch gut mglich. Konnten einige Stunden entspannt darin liegen, sie als Rckzugsort nutzen und den Tag super genieen.
Dann beim Abbau wurde es nochmals spannend: haben ja zum Glck zu Hause schon gebt, sodass es auf Anhieb super geklappt hat. Die Tasche ist super praktisch, die Strandmuschel ist insgesamt echt super, kann sie nur empfehlen.
Das Preis/ Leistungsverhltnis ist einwandfrei.
Ich kann noch nicht sagen, wie lange die Strandmuschel hlt, doch sie wirkt robust.
I used this tent for 4 nights in Jasper National Park recently. The first night I got rained on really hard, and a little the next morning, about 1/2″ of rain total. The tent surprisingly repelled the rain better than I expected. Overall I think the tent is pretty good. It is a little flimsier than other tents I’ve used, so I recommend absolutely securing the tent with the guy wire/cords it comes with. I don’t believe this thing could stand high winds otherwise. Also, use a heavy duty tarp under the tent ( you should with any tent). Lots of room for one person. I used this tent solo, you could get away with 2 people, but 4 would just not work in my opinion.
The tent arrived on time. It is easy to carry and light weight.
I set it up to be sure it would fit my needs, to see if it was watertight and just how to do it.
Set up was easy, even with a slight breeze and could be done by this 76 year old lady.
It started raining just as I finished and rained for several hours. The tent stayed dry inside. It dried quickly the next morning.
Take down was difficult. Either the directiond were poorly written or I just did not understand them. The biggest issue collapsing the hub. I understood what to do BUT did not have the hand strength. My 20 year old granddaugther had a slight issue also but got it done. I am hoping the more it is used the easier it gets.
I like the zipper set up, being able to zip door and windows from both the inside and outside.
The little door mat is nice but not sure how well it will work.
It will hold 4 people but not all their gear and diffenatly not on cots. Two would be comfortable.
We will see how it works in real life.
Buying a tent is such a hard choice. I did a ton of research before buying this one. Truthfully, I almost didn’t buy it because of another review talking about how the windows seemed like an afterthought but my teen convinced me that it was not something that would matter. I am so glad I listened to her.
This tent is seriously the easiest thing to put up. I have another similar one and a true pop-up style tent – with spring loaded coil frame, but this one beats them both. Sliding the poles up and popping them into place was super butter smooth! The zippers are such a game changer too. They didn’t get caught on anything, they zipped easily and quickly with one hand and the double zipper allowed me to unzip what I wanted and leave the rest closed.
So what about the windows? Honestly they are great! The fact that I can completely open them is such a rare feature. Plus everything zips so smoothly that it doesn’t matter that the mesh is on the inside. And both sides roll up and secure together really nicely. Ready for the bonus? THE DOOR HAS A WINDOW! Not all tents have that and I think it’s a huge plus.
I got nervous when it was time to put it up because the bag is not a zipper bag. But I left my teen to do it to really test out the ease. She is not the most precise tent roller, but she got it closed and it fit back in the bag with no issue. We didn’t have to fit it in or anything.
My only complaint is that it came with features that I didn’t know it had! Like the bonus floor mat that you can put that outside your tent and a ton of extra straps that I’m honestly not sure what they are for. Oh and for headroom, my 5’2 daughter can stand in the center but just barely so it is on the shorter side, but we knew that and want it to be that way so it was easier to put on the rain fly.
Easy foldable pop-up tent for the family
I had purchased this blue pop-up tent for my son and family to use at the seaside. I liked the pop-up tent as it came with it’s own storage bag to store the tent in and easy to carry for transportation, and it came with easy to follow instructions. The pop-up tent is made of waterproof and long lasting material and has a UV protection of 50+ to protect against the hot weather. What I like about this pop-up tent is that it opens automatically within seconds, no assembly required, except for you just to use the four strings and ten steel sakes to the pop-up tent on windy days or to use them to make the tent to be more stablelised and it folds down easy, at first just a little bit tricky when folding it into circle, but will become easier when have more practise. As you can see from my photo’s the pop-up tent is exactly as described, e.g. it’s big enough to fit three people inside it, it has a mesh window for ventilation, there’s a fap that can cover over the window and the fap can be rolled up and the fap can placed down and the tent can be zipped up when you need to some privacy, the tent has a zipped door that can be open used as an extra sitting surface for the child to sit on if needed to. Had first tested it at home in the living room to make sure the pop-up tent has everything that was equipped with it, ensuring it is easy to put up and down and is light weight and eascarry can’t. Overall the pop-up tent appearance looks perfect and is value for money and just right to use when going on a family trip to the seaside. Can’t wait till use it properly at the seaside with my family.
