Product description

As I’m traveling more often taking 10 + hour flights in economy I knew I had to look into a portable or deflatable airplane seat. It feels very durable and great quality. Does not feel cheap. I like that it has a squish pump basically. You fill it in by pressing the bubbles to inflate. Pretty straightforward. And to deflate you just open up the valve. I very much do recommend this as it is comfortable and feels like it will last me. I suffer from sciatic pain, which alleviate some of that pain. But let’s be realistic at 10 hour flight will always leave some Human fatigue. Adding this to my travel, essentials is definitely a must!
I was actually pleasantly surprised how well this travel cushion works. It takes a bit of practice with the whole inflating/deflating thing, but once you watch the Demo videos it all makes sense. It comes in a nice travel pouch and there is two ways to inflate this cushion: You can either blow into the valve or use the red pump valve and hand pump for about 60 seconds. It works pretty good! Deflating and folding the cushion up is a bit tricky, you really have to squeeze good to get all the air out to make it somewhat foldable to get it back into the bag. To be honest, I did this once and now I just leave inflated most of the time. Now to the seating comfort: It is really not bad. I used it in a stadium at an all day event and it served my butt and back well. At least it was bearable, before having the cushion it was clearly not! I like mine pretty firm. Now I have found even a second use for it, which makes me even more happier: I always like to put up my legs on the living room table (admit it, you do it too), but it hurts after a while, right? Pillow is too high, but this cushion is just perfect. So, now this is my TV-slouching-cushion without the leg pain and I’m all happy about it. For that reason alone it would be worth it for me.
Interestingly comfortable
This uniquely designed cushion is interestingly comfortable. The overall design of the seat is interesting, and the way it inflates is also interesting. You can pump it with your hand, or you can inflate it with your mouth like you would a balloon. You can also use an electric pump or hand-operated pump, but there is no need. The built-in pump would do it with just your hand pumping it. It is easy to inflate and it works very well. It alleviates the discomfort of sitting on a hard surface for an extended period of time. It came with a nice velvety bag to carry in. It’s perfect for travel and for stadiums seating. I was at first skeptical how practical and comfortable this cushion would be, but I’m sold. I’m actually using it everyday on my dining chair. It looked rather pricy, but with the comfort and the quality, I think it’s worth the price.
Good cushion for uncomfortable airplane seats
It’s pretty comfortable as a cushion in your economy seat. It is pretty large and doesn’t fold down very well, even when you get the air out because it’s hard to get ALL the air out. The cushion inflated pretty easily with the squeezable pump. It looks like it’ll be pretty durable – in addition to travel, I think it will be very good for the office. The little air pockets also provided good air flow.
Inflatable seat decent size, with a built-in air valve so no external pump is needed. Materials are nylon TPU with a breathable Lycra top, 36 interconnected air cells, non-slip waterproof bottom, and it comes with a storage bag. Rated to hold up to 441 lbs.
Mine ended up in an unlikely spot — by my daughter’s bed, where I sit a lot while she falls asleep — and for that it’s been great. Works extremely well as a comfortable seat. Once you learn the trick to it, it’s easy to inflate: everything’s built in, so you can inflate or deflate on demand, which is very convenient.
I have no doubt it works for car or plane use too, but I’d lean toward using it in one specific spot rather than hauling it onto a plane, unless you have a particular comfort issue that makes it worth it. It’s a bit of a chore to move around and re-inflate each time, so it’s more of a set-it-in-one-place cushion than a grab-and-go travel item.
For a dedicated sitting spot, it does the job well.
