Product description

Bright, Reliable Solar Path Lights with Larger Build and Strong All-Night Performance
Overall, I’ve been very impressed with this set of solar lamps which arrived exactly as imaged and described in the listing, being true to both size, shape, and color, as well as style.
I have had these up in my front yard for about two weeks now, and so far I have had no issues. The lights are a little bit brighter than I expected, and when the settings are adjusted, they stay on throughout the night without issue. That being said, these do have access to direct sunlight for nearly the entire day, which I’m sure plays a significant role in them staying on so long.
Compared to my other solar stake lights, these ones are definitely a little bit larger in width and also a little bit taller by comparison. These definitely seem like a higher quality option, Although some care is still necessary when putting them into the ground, especially if the ground is hard.
Overall, I would definitely recommend these to anyone who is looking to upgrade their walkway or patio areas, or simply to light up common footpaths around their house – THANK YOU!!
Bright, colorful lights that make the yard look great. Highly recommended!
I’ll be honest. I ordered these without noticing the RGB feature, allowing you to select different colors. I think they look great with the warm light, but I also enjoy playing with the colors!
These solar pathway lights are a really nice upgrade for any outdoor space. The RGB lighting adds a fun pop of color, and they look great lining a walkway or around a patio. They turn on automatically at dusk and give off a steady, bright glow that’s noticeable without being too harsh. The design is simple but attractive, and they blend in well during the day while really standing out at night.
Setup was quick and easy—just stake them into the ground and let the sun do the rest. The build feels solid, and the IP65 waterproof rating gives confidence they’ll hold up well through rain and typical outdoor conditions. They’ve been reliable so far, charging efficiently during the day and lasting through the night without issues. The best feature? The poles are METAL. The last set of similar lights had plastic poles and plastic points that had to be driven into the soil, and one of the four broke when I was trying to install it. I’d still recommend you take your time and be careful, but this set s far more durable than plastic ones.
For the price, this 2-pack feels like a great value compared to similar solar lights. You’re getting good brightness, durable construction, and a nice color-changing feature that adds more personality than standard white lights. Overall, these do exactly what they’re supposed to and make outdoor spaces look better with almost no effort.
Excellent bright pathway solar lights
I set these out in the sun for a day and then waited for dark to put them out and they are fantastic! I will definitely be buying more of these. The lights are so bright they light the whole area pictured in front of the gate. In AZ we tend to be night owls when the weather is hot so these are so much appreciated. These lights are seriously the clearest and the brightest of any solar lights I have. Perfect by the gate for taking the garbage cans in and out. And when I back my truck up to the gate I can see so much better. Excellent value and they give a very cool artistic pattern on the wall behind like a carriage light on the front of a house would. I use bright lights on the front of my house because our subdivision is very rural and doesn’t have any street lights at night and these don’t look cheap or out of place, the brightness matches what the wired house lights shine. Im a bit ocd with light tones and this gives a fluid look around the front and side of the house without a patchwork kind of different bulbs all over. Buy many, you will need so much more, these are a clear winner. I also appreciate that the stakes comes with an extension so I can place them in my lush fluffy vines and they sit up high enough to provide a good light and not get swallowed whole by my garden when it grows. Cant recommend these enough.
Beautifully Designed Solar Lights That Work Against Night Visio
Here we have a pair of sturdy, bright LED solar path lights on strong metal tube supports. The crown-shaped light heads, with an “exclusive appearance” patent, says the product listing, contain a mirror array that, while beautifully jewel-like to contemplate in daylight, proves to be, for this reviewer at least, a case of design over practicality.
These ESLIGHTION brand lights have a truly striking appearance, but I found it unfortunate that the “striking” aspect also includes bright light striking one’s eye when it should be directed at the path below. So that one feature (a bug in this case) caused me to drop a star.
That’s really the only con I found, and I wanted to get it out of the way here up front. It may not be a concern, depending upon your chosen installation venue. But for me, the original plan was to use these lights on a long path in a field that’s in a dark sky, star-filled location. The goal is to light the path, only, while preserving night vision.
Here’s what’s going on with these lights: Under the solar cell “roof” of the units is a collection of LEDs that shoot down at a four-facet, pyramid-shaped mirror below in the unit light head. (See photos.) And, depending upon the viewing angle, one sees those LEDs reflected in the mirror surface. And, as already noted, they are capital “B” bright.
Getting beyond that aspect, what’s to like?
Actually, a lot. I ordered the RGB version of the lights. And while I’ll be mainly using the warm white setting, there will definitely be a time when the color options will be welcome. On a recent spring night I previewed a red and green Christmas look and it was pretty impressive. (See photo.)
(Note though that the camera’s time exposure made the overall brightness and saturation more dramatic than the real life version.)
There’s one setting via the on-board switch that runs through all the available colors in sequence, that some might find enjoyable for parties. I shot a video to document that effect.
Light coverage is strong. In warm white mode I got about a five foot circle of bright light projected from the lights, which stand nearly 18 inches above the ground. The light intensity falls off pretty rapidly after that central area, for roughly eleven feet of total coverage. I’d say that if you were planning to thoroughly illuminate a path, each side of it would require these lights spaced, at minimum, six feet apart.
Fit and finish and build are all top notch here. The IP65 waterproof rating has held them in good stead so far. And the run time is reliably dusk to dawn, here in early spring. One small note: the product listing identifies these as ESLIGHTION lights, but the units themselves and the included manual are branded COOSOLUX.
For me, they’ll not get installed where originally planned, where keeping night vision intact is the priority. There are plenty of other spots on the property where they will be better suited than the star-gazing trails. The light that they shoot sideways and upward, reflected from the mirrored surfaces, might well be a benefit in a summer flower garden, illuminating a stand of tall zinnias.
