Low profile
We’ve been very happy with this purchase. They have a low profile yet they are bright enough to see them but not too overwhelming. Love the colors and the ability to change them up. The reliability is super. I was worried that they wouldn’t get enough light because they are partially shaded throughout the day, but so far that has not been an issue. They are set up on our deck, so we had to modify how we installed them, but it works.
I picked up the SIEDiNLAR solar driveway lights in the 16 pack and put them along my driveway and walkway. Setup was simple. You get ground spikes for soft soil and screws if you want to mount them on a hard surface, and the spikes go in without much effort.
The case is aluminum with a thick plastic cover over the LEDs, so it’s built to take some abuse. They’re also low profile, so my mower doesn’t catch on them.
The remote is the main draw for me. You get 11 RGB color options plus a few modes like fade, jump, and strobe, so I can switch from plain white for everyday use to color for holidays or parties. That said, the remote range is short, somewhere between a few feet and 30 feet depending on who you ask, and lights that are grouped together don’t always respond at the same time. I’ve had to press a button more than once to get every light to catch up. The color fade and jump modes also tend to fall out of sync after a while, so don’t expect a smooth, choreographed light show if you’re running several units together.
Sunlight charging held up better than I expected. Some of my lights sit in partial shade for part of the day, and they still came on at full brightness at night. They’re rated waterproof too, but I’ll be curious if they survive winter conditions.
The price is the one thing that gives me pause. A 16 pack runs over $100, which works out to around $7 to $10 per light. That’s not cheap for a yard accessory, but the build quality and the waterproofing make me think they’ll outlast a cheaper set, so it might balance out over time.

This review is for the SIEDiNLAR Solar Driveway Light with Remote, 11 RGB Modes, Waterproof Outdoor Safety Light (16 Pack)
This is giant pack of 16 “puck” lights. They come with ground spikes and mounting screws so you can install them on any surface. You could also use double-sided tape if you wanted a less permanent installation option (tape not included). These lights have an aluminum case with thick plastic covering the LEDs. While I don’t plan to drive my car over them, they do seem like they would stand up to significant stress. I see how these could be useful as safety lights, but I plan to use them to accent my driveway and walkway for the holidays.
The lights come with a remote which can change the lights to one of 8 colors and includes 3 light modes, 2 of which control color changing and one strobe. The colors are rich and I like that there is a bright white and a warm white. I could leave the lights set on warm white when I’m not using them for the holidays.
All the colors on a single light are the same. The product page shows pictures where a single light has multiple colored lights at the same time. This configuration is not available. I guess they meant for that picture to be an illustration showing that the light color can be changed.
The remote has a very short range. I’m talking about a few feet. While some lights will respond from a farther distance, I had all the lights grouped as shown in the phots and some would react to the remote and some would not. I would have the press the color choice multiple times for all the lights to change. Another concern I have is when using the pre-configured Fade and Jump functions, the lights would not stay in sync. So, after a short while the lights would display different colors even though they were all set at the same time.
If your primary purpose is to use these as safety lights or static lights I think you will get full value from these. If you plan to use the RGB color changing modes, such as I plan to do for the holidays, just be aware they will not stay in sync. Overall, I am very happy with these and plan to use them as part of my holiday displays this year.
We have a long blacktop driveway that’s in the process of being redone, and we wanted to get some lights to try and spruce it up a bit. I saw these and though they’d be a perfect solve, so I grabbed them.
Firstly, the be x contains everything you should need. Everything is placed fairly securely in bags and inside of the box.
I gave these a test run and will set them up more permanently in the future, but my test was enough to have me thoroughly impressed with these.
The spikes that attach to them are easy to assemble and put in the ground. That said, I didn’t feel like they were as strong as they should be for this type of item. Once they’re in the ground, they’re extremely solid.
You get a remote control that allows you to change colors, intensity, etc, so you can really dial in your preferences. They look really modern and provide a beautiful light. I did have some trouble finding spots that weren’t in shade to ensure they got plenty of light.
Overall, while they are a little pricey, this package is high quality and you get a lot of high quality, sturdy lights. If you have somewhere that’s exposed to enough sun, I would absolutely recommend these to anyone in the market to increase curb appeal easily.
Solid aluminum solar marker lights with useful color options and remote control.
These are solid little driveway and pathway lights. The aluminum housing feels fairly solid. I like the amount of color control they offer. There are lots of color choices, so they can be used for everyday driveway markers, holiday lighting, dock lights, deck accents, or just adding some personality to a path.
They came with a remote, but there’s also a function selector button on the back. The light output is more for marking edges and adding visibility than lighting up a large space. The only real downside is that the battery does not appear to be easily replaceable.
Overall, these are sturdy solar marker lights with a solid aluminum body, lots of color options, and useful control from the remote.
These are some surprisingly good quality puck lights. There are garden spikes if you want to mount them in the ground, or you can screw them into concrete as driveway runway markers, and they look like they could survive being driven over, but I won’t try that. The appearance is of a silver roadway reflector, and there is a bright white setting if you like. They must be powered up by pressing a button on the backside, then cover the solar panel to verify they are on.
I set mine around a raised flowerbed, and they look great at night. There are a couple basic effects, as well as about 8 colors to choose from, but the rotating color mode is too abrupt for my liking so I just leave them on one color setting. The battery lifespan seems to be 8-10 hours when fully charged. I feel these lights are a very good value for the money.
