Product description

Absolutely worth every penny and more!
I am so impressed with these stepping stones! They are big and heavy, so you don’t have to worry about them blowing away or shifting around when you step on them. They look exactly like real, heavy rock, and the slate grey color is great!
Even though they’re made of durable recycled rubber, you’d never know it by looking at them- they blend right into the yard for a very natural look.
These come three in a pack, and because they are such a good size, you can space them out quite a bit to create a nice path. I’m planning to use mine to create a walkway from my front porch out to the tree and flower bed. One thing to keep in mind is that you really want to set them down into the ground just a little bit. If they stick up too far, you might trip over the edges, but they are easy to sink in and they stay put once you get them settled. Also, set far enough in, you can mow over them just fine!
One of the best parts is the anti-slip surface; they feel very heavy-duty and safe to walk on even when things get wet.
Overall, these are a fantastic addition to any garden or as a walkway since they require zero maintenance. For the quality and the size you’re getting, I think they are a great value, and I would definitely recommend them if you are looking to add a sturdy and attractive path into your outdoor space, especially that is safe and durable.
Four Stars – Attractive, Easy, and Practical, Though Not Quite “Stone‑Like”
These rubber stepping stones look great in the garden. The slategrey, naturalstone design blends nicely with outdoor landscaping and adds a clean, decorative touch to walkways. They’re surprisingly durable as well—made from recycled rubber, they stay in place and hold up well through different weather conditions.
The antislip surface is another nice feature. Even after a rain, the texture provides a steady, secure footing, which is especially helpful on sloped or frequently used paths.
One of the best parts is how simple they are to install. Just place them where you want them—no digging, leveling, or special tools required. They’re lightweight enough to reposition easily but still heavy enough not to slide around.
The one drawback is that, while they resemble stone from a distance, up close it’s clear they’re rubber. They also tend to conform to the contour of the ground, which emphasizes that difference even more.
Overall, these stepping stones are a convenient, lowmaintenance option that deliver instant results and a nice aesthetic. Not perfect, but definitely a solid and practical addition to any garden path.
I originally gave these full-rubber stepping stones a lower star-rating – but changed it to 5 stars because they are the only stepping stone that works for “uneven surfaces” !!!!! Which I discovered only after moving them to an uneven surface area – where they are a true live-saver!!!
These outdoor stepping stones qualify as being “pretty-much” genuinely authentic “outdoor”. Thick and heavy, holding up to anything you set them in – soil, gravel or grass. But is the concept of “giant smelly rubber” stepping stones actually genuinely outdoorsy?
Large and perfectly squared – give a somewhat interesting look to any yard or property – as well as provoking conversational debates with environmentally-oriented guests.
I have set these in Mojave Desert Sand near my rear patio area – giving me a pathway to nearby plants and scrubs. No more questionable steps – I know these stepping stones are going to support me very evenly and skid/slip free. I also know they are there on hot days, because I can “smell” them – the smell of hot-raw rubber easily offsetting the aroma of my cultivated fragrant flowers. Do or don’t I, want the smell of hot rubber near my award-winning garden patio? This is the major question, potential buyers need to assess. Maybe I will put them somewhere else.
If you are a “barefoot kind-of-person”, it needs to be warned – these black rubber stepping stones, on sunny days, are “super-hot” on the tender-tootsies – that is, if you don’t have your shoes on. Should there be stars-off for that? Well, any person who reviews a product, in part, has a duty to protect the buying public. Concerning these stepping stones – maybe they should have made them in light-colored material. My 2-year old granddaughter is always running around outside without her shoes on.
By the looks and feel of the durability of this product, my guess is, they will last longer than I will.
I could surely find use for about 10 more of these stepping stones – but I would have to decide whether or not to order more – if and when I might be able to afford them.
At $50 for 3 – in comparison to concrete stepping stones at big-box – seems to me to be slightly on the high-price side, where I could buy close to 30 (or more, if on sale) concrete stones for $50 – but my bank account thinks everything is high-priced these days. If you are the kind of person who has nothing but money to spend – then spend some on these – you will most likely not be too disappointed.
Heavy, solid, but enough flex that you can use them on uneven surfaces
OK – these are heavy. Much heavier than I anticipated – but that’s a good thing.
For all intents and purposes, I’m using these the same way I would use a concrete stepping stone. With one big difference:
If I don’t have a perfectly smooth level space under a concrete stepping stone, it will break if you step on it over time.
Not so with these rubber stepping stones. Although I can’t say how well they’ll survive under a few summers of hot sun, for now, they are perfect as a threshold under my garden gate. They conform to the somewhat uneven space under the gate, but I can position them to be just barely under where the gate closes so nothing can dig under or crawl past them.
And that’s just what I needed because the concrete stepping stone I used before snapped if you took a wheelbarrow over it. These hold up just fine.
Very happy with these!
