Night Glow Timekeeper That Feels Precise, Durable, and Designed for Real Outdoor Living
Installing this Pytha Sight 24 inch illuminated outdoor clock, I immediately noticed how solid the metal frame feels and how cleanly the oversized dial is finished, giving the clock a precise and well balanced form that looks intentional on a patio wall. Functionally it performs extremely well with full dial illumination that lights the entire face evenly at night, making the numbers and hands easy to read from across the yard. Usefulness is high because the smart light sensor handles the backlight automatically and the built in thermometer and hygrometer give accurate environmental readings without needing to check a phone. Installation is simple since the clock hangs like a standard wall piece and only requires battery placement before it is ready to go. Durability stands out with the IP65 waterproof construction and UV resistant frame that hold up to rain, sun, and humidity without fading or warping. Fit and form are consistent with tight seams, a silent movement, and a clean round profile that blends with both modern and classic outdoor decor. Precision in the timekeeping and accuracy in the temperature and humidity gauges make the clock feel engineered rather than decorative. For the money the value is strong because it delivers a large illuminated dial, weatherproof build quality, and multi function capability in a single piece that upgrades any outdoor space.
Solid well-built clock!
This is a well built, solid clock! I honestly wasn’t expecting it to be of the quality it is. It’s weatherproof – made to be used outdoors – but it can be used indoors as well. Because it’s sealed, it keeps moisture and dust from getting inside – which is a plus. Not only is it a clock, but you can also use it to check the temperature and humidity. The face lights up, and there’s several options for the lights … they can be left on, turned on and off by a timer, etc. The clock itself runs off of the typical “A” battery, but the lights require multiple “D” batteries (I believe it requires 4). It’s not overly heavy, even with all the batteries installed, so nothing special is needed to hang it. It looks good both indoors and outdoors, so it’s a win-win for me!
A solidly built clock with automatic, internal lighting you can hang indoors or out.
I recently received this “Pytha Sight 22 Inch Outdoor Clocks Waterproof, Large Easy-to-Read Illuminated Outdoor Wall Clock with Smart Light Sensor, Silent Large Outdoor Clock for Patio, Pool,Porch,Garden,Backyard” and I love it. I have it hanging in my living room right now, amongst a few dozen other wall clocks, but this one will likely end up outside on my patio when I finish with the outdoor seating overhaul I’m working on. Until then, I am loving it right where it is and have absolutely zero complaints about it.
I feel obligated to note that the clock I received is the larger model (24″), rather than the 22″ clock I actually ordered. I know this because I measured it, but also because it’s an exact size match to the 24″ clock that hung on the wall where this one now resides. The 24″ clock appears to be priced at $199.99, which is what my 22″ clock was listed at when I ordered. The 22″ clock is listed for $99 as I type this review, and that pricing sounds considerably more reasonable. My point? Check those prices and sizes. It looks to me as if this particular clock’s listing has had a few technical issues. My order history is not matching the current listing 100%, and the differences appear to be verbiage-based as the 22″ and 24″ clock are priced about $100 apart. Receiving the larger clock was awesome, but the 22″ clock would have been much easier to hang.
This clock is well constructed and feels durable, with a strong, metal frame. Still, the clock isn’t terribly heavy and I have mine hanging with a standard picture hanger rated for “up to 25 lbs” and it hasn’t been an issue. The light is powered by four (4) D-batteries, but the clock itself is powered by a single AA. I’m using “carbon zinc” AA-batteries in mine to help preserve the clock hardware. So far, it’s keeping perfect time and both the temperature and humidity gauges appear to give accurate readings.
This clock has a really beautiful design, although it may be considered a bit “plain” by those looking for more elaborate designs. As I mentioned, this one is currently mixed in with quite a few more (I collect clocks), but will eventually be the time/light feature hanging on an exterior wall on the back porch. The numbers are Arabic and easy to read from a distance. Unlike clocks I’ve owned with similar features (indoor/outdoor, automatic light, etc.), one of the features about this one I love is that the entire face lights up. More often than not, the automatic LED lights are positioned at the 12, 3, 6, and 9. This allows for the face to be illuminated “over all,” with extra brightness at each quarter hour. With this clock, on the other hand, when the LEDs light up, the entire face illuminates. It makes a huge impression, and it makes the clock ridiculously easy to read.
This 22″ clock was priced at $199.99 when I placed my order and I would not order the 22″ version at that price (see comments above regarding size/price differences). Pricing aside, I would definitely order the clock again. It required only minimal setup (battery installation) and was ready to hang. The build quality feels solid to me, and as long as its weather-resistance holds true, I plan on enjoying this clock for many years. I’m looking forward to it being my patio timekeeper during the spring and summer.

Large Outdoor Clock with Great Features
This 22″ outdoor clock is very nice! The size alone makes it a standout piece. It’s large, bold, eye-catching, and easy to read from a distance while also adding beautiful decor to your space. The thick, bronze-finished frame surrounding the clock makes it look bold and high-quality.
Not only does it tell time, but it also displays the outdoor temperature and humidity which is very convenient when your’re relaxing outside and want to keep track of the weather without checking your phone. The illumination feature is another plus. You can set it up automatically light up when it gets dark, put it on a timer, or keep it off or on continuously depending on your preference.
While it’s built for outdoors – patios, porches, and gardens with weatherproof features, and UV protection, these durable qualities make it excellent for indoor spaces too – especially in large rooms where you want easy-to-read time from a distance. In fact, I am actually placing it in my office. It’s cordless, which makes placement easy, though it does require multiple batteries (four D batteries and one AA).
I will say, that while I really like this clock and all of its features, the $199.99 price point does feel a bit on the higher end compared to similar outdoor clocks. That said, it is a beautiful, functional, and impressive clock that really stands out, and I am happy with it.
