Photos can make it look smaller. Roughly the width of an Teenagers hand or a large coffee mug. The height is 14.7 inches, about the same as a 13-inch laptop standing on its side. We made it this size to get enough suction power.

It works as intended
I didn’t have high hopes for this but it actually works pretty good. My kitchen has the worst ventilation and my wife has taken up cooking recently, driving me crazy with lingering food smells and just general smokiness. When he used this, it improved the smell by a lot and the cooking smoke by like 50%. This is acceptable for the price. I do find it loud but it’s preferable to living with the smell of bacon. It’s a larger device and kind of ugly though.
Super easy to clean — and the suction is no joke
I was hesitant to buy a portable range hood because I thought cleaning would be a pain. Glad I was wrong.
The filter pops right out with no tools, and you can just rinse it under water. The “wash mode” feature actually helps push oil buildup off the fan blades, which is pretty clever. It also comes with 5 replacement carbon pads, so I don’t have to worry about buying extras for a while.
And yes — the suction is strong. It pulls steam and smoke right in, even on the 2nd setting. Easy maintenance + solid performance. Highly recommend.
