I didn’t get a chance to review this earlier because we have so many projects going on at my house and we did not get to the pond lining with any kind of reasonable quickness. However, this liner is pretty sturdy. It has a good thickness. As long as you clear any concerning sharp objects or rocks, you should not have a problem using it. I do not have any complaints.
This is for protection not water retentio
Pay attention to the product description, it is not for holding water. It’s for protecting the ponds rubber water barrier from puncture.
I didn’t read the products description before getting this, I thought it was to retain water, once recieved it i noticed it was not water proof materials then i read the description.
This is excellent for protecting the water proof liner. It is puncture resistant and will protect the pricey water barrier.
I am making a pond in our yard so now I have the material to keep the new water retention liner safe from puncture when I add the decor rocks ect.
Nice thick underlayment for medium size pond repairs
I used this to help with a pond leak repair. I pulled up the pond liner, fixed a leak and laid this down underneath. It’s a soft, thick felt. Easy to cut to size. The old underlayment was decaying and had root intrusion. This is a good size for a medium pond to help block roots from poking through. It also came with metal stakes to hold it in place. Would recommend for pond applications.
