    Love the large display!
Love this for our backyard! This clock is big and you can see it from all angles of the yard! It is made of a hard resin plastic and is durable. The face is sealed tight, waterproof and it doesn’t make any noise when ticking! After setting the time it has stayed accurate and the temperature gauges work perfectly as well! I’ve included a pic from the back of my yard so you can see its size in relation to how far away you are from the patio. Absolute love this clock and you will as well! I have had it outside for a week now and it’s held up well during a windy day and the temperature has maintained its accuracy.

Golden Review Award: 1 From Our UsersLightweight, easy to read, and ready to hang outside. Sadly, no built-in light feature.
I recently received this “OCEST 18 Inch Indoor Outdoor Clock, Waterproof Wall Clock with Thermometer Hygrometer Combo, Silent Non-Ticking Patio Clock for Porch, Pool, Garden” and I’m still trying to decide if I’ll hang it outside on the patio or not. It’s a pretty cool design with a “clockwork” or almost “Vault-Tec” kind of vibe, but it may be too “steampunk-specific” in its style to blend with certain others styles. The juxtaposition of contrasting styles may work very well, however, so play with the mixing and matching!

This clock arrived quickly, was packed securely, and no visible damage appears to have occurred. The clock comes with a sheet of easy-to-follow instructions and I had it ready for hanging within minutes of receiving it. The clock hardware is powered by a single “carbon zinc” AA-battery, and so far it seems to be keeping time perfectly. Unfortunately, but probably by design, the battery compartment on the back of the clock does require the removal of two screws. Why this was necessary is a mystery – the battery compartment appears to be no *more* waterproof than the rest of the clock (no seals or obvious moisture barrier), so the necessity to remove the cover with a screwdriver is just annoying. And no, a screwdriver was NOT included for this step.

The clock has no secondhand and makes no sound, so that’s a definite plus for those who are easily annoyed by the tick-tick-ticking. The clock has a built-in thermometer and hygrometer, and to the best of my knowledge, the readings it’s been giving are accurate – if they aren’t accurate, it’s at least *consistent* because both gauges are in line with the others in the immediate vicinity.

The clock itself is pretty lightweight, which is good, and the frame is lightweight plastic, so it’s not very heavy either. I like the frame’s stylized finish. It gives the piece an aged appearance, as if the clock (or at least its frame) are vintage. The frame is designed to resemble “industrial” hardware, along the lines of steampunk or clockwork-inspired decorations, and one of my immediate thoughts when I saw it was, “Oooh, a clock the be prized by Wastelanders!”

The one thing missing from this clock that would make it “perfect” to me is a light feature. I think if it had a built-in light (with automatic sensor), it would be perfect, and at this price point, I honestly think it really should and I’m a bit disappointed that it does not. I mean, yes, I knew that before ordering it, but I half hoped it was a detail the seller overlooked. However, there is no light, so it wasn’t an oversight in the listing – just an oversight in the design, perhaps! 🙂 At just under $50, I do think it could’ve had light though.

This clock was priced at $46.99 when I placed my order, and I’d probably order it again. I really dig the style and the fact that it’s so lightweight, and despite not having a built-in light feature, it’s a pretty cool piece. Plus, the face is covered, making it a bit more environmentally-protected for outdoor use. If it lit up, it would be perfect to me!

This clock is priced at $46.99 as I type this review and I would most likely order it again. I’ve got this one inside for now because it blends better with my interior decor than it does with my current patio furnishings, but when I get the back patio the way I want it, I’ll probably be placing this one out there. For now though, I have it inside and I have no significant reservations recommending this wall clock to others.

    Mostly happy to recommend!

Porthole Style, Easy to Read, and Built for Damp Places
This unique wall clock was ordered for outdoor use, but we didn’t have a clock in the bathroom and it looks so special that it is now hanging above the tub. The clock’s case looks like a boat’s porthole, and the tub is at least water-adjacent, so that is its hangout for now.

This clock is designed to be waterproof, which is an important feature for outdoor use. Even if an outdoor clock is protected from rain, humidity and temperature changes can cause condensation inside an unsealed clock movement and eventually cause it to fail. Unless we have a plumbing catastrophe in the bathroom, we probably won’t give the waterproof feature much of a workout, but it is still reassuring to have.

The movement is well sealed, and its cover plate is fastened with Phillips-head screws. The cover must be removed to install the battery, which is not included, so I was careful not to lose the screws because they do not appear to be a common size. Since the entire clock mechanism is contained within the sealed movement, the cover also has to be removed to set the time. Before replacing the cover, I installed a long-life battery, set the clock, and waited about an hour to roughly check that it was keeping time.

I also used that time to compare the temperature and humidity gauges against my digital thermostat. The temperature readings agreed, and the humidity readings differed by less than 2%, which is better than I expected from small built-in gauges.

The clock’s case is finished to look like a weather-worn metal porthole frame, but it is actually lightweight plastic and easy to hang. The photo included with this review shows it mounted on a mirrored bathroom wall. The time is very easy to read from about 20 feet away.

At its current price, this is a high-value clock with excellent styling, good readability, and practical sealed construction. Five stars. Recommended!

Masculine Vintage Industrial Clock - Easy to Read and Looks Great!
This clock has a vintage industrial look; it is gray plastic but looks like metal with rivet accents. I ordered it for my husband’s workshop that is not heated, cooled or insulated, so it was important that it is waterproof and weather resistant plus looked masculine. He needed to be able to see the clock from anywhere in his 24×36 shop and the large 18″ size with black numbers fits the bill. It also has temperature and humidity gauges which are very helpful since we are using in an outdoor environment. It is ready to hang other than installing one AA battery that is not included with the clock. It is very well made, and it has a silent second hand, no tick, tick, tick like many clocks have. We’ve had it in the shop for 10 days and have had days of heavy rain and the clock is still performing the same as when we put it out there.

    Beautiful Addition to the Garde
This 18-inch outdoor wall clock looks amazing in my garden area and fits in perfectly with the other metal art pieces I have displayed. The vintage design gives it a decorative, high-end look while still being very functional.

The clock is easy to read from a distance thanks to the large numbers, and it has become a great focal point in the space. I love how it adds both style and practicality to the garden, patio, or porch.

Most importantly, the clock works perfectly. The timekeeping has been accurate, and the thermometer and hygrometer are nice added features that make it even more useful outdoors.

Overall, this is a beautiful, well-designed outdoor clock that adds charm and character to any garden setting.

Golden Review Award: 2 From Our UsersLarge industrial-look clock - shows temperature and humidity too - will use on screened porch
This review is for the OCEST 18″ indoor/outdoor clock with thermometer and hygrometer combo. Mine arrived a couple of days ago in great shape – it was VERY well-protected when it was on its way to me. I think it took me longer to unpack it than to find a battery, insert it, and get the clock on my wall!

I unpacked this at my kitchen table, even though it will actually be hung on my big screened porch (leads to my back yard). It came with bubble-wrap padding that protected it nicely. I used a Phillips #1 screwdriver to open the battery compartment on the back of the clock; be very careful when doing this as the compartment cover is held on by two VERY TINY screws and you won’t want to lose them! It took a few seconds before I saw the clock mechanism (on the back) start moving, so that’s when I adjusted the little round thingie to set the time (there must be a name for that, but I don’t know what it is), then I put the battery cover back on. I had a Warren Kimble “Home Sweet Home” portrait hanging in my main entryway’s foyer, so I took that down and put this clock up instead just to see it on a wall; I think it looks nice even on my 1960 wallpaper (which is pretty yucky by now and will soon be torn down so we can replace it with paint).

Besides the fact that this is waterproof so I can use it outdoors, what I like the most about this clock is that it displays the current temperature and humidity level as well. In my house, that meant just under 70 for the temp (verified by the thermostat on the kitchen wall a few feet away) and about 30% humidity – which also feels accurate. I will be hanging this on my big screened porch as soon as I clear a path to the back wall – that porch is a work in progress so the area isn’t very accessible right now. I will try to remember to come back and post another photo once it’s up out there – I love the industrial look for outdoors!

At the current price of $46.99 (as of 5/12/26), this clock is a good buy for those who need a functional, attractive outdoor clock. I am looking forward to seeing it on my porch for many more years.
