These are perfect for our lightweight poly cabana curtains. These are super heavy, strong magnets and they hold them down!! The magnets stick together firmly and stay in place whether they’re dragging on the ground or higher up on the curtain. High wind will always turn the curtains into sails and will always be a problem, but during normal breezy weather these do what I expected them to do. Worth the higher cost. Buy.
I ordered the Novabright Heavy Duty Outdoor Curtain Weights for my patio curtains, and they work exactly as intended. If you’ve ever dealt with outdoor curtains constantly blowing around in the wind, these weights are a simple but highly effective solution.
I previously had sandbag weights which ended up just being too heavy and actually pulled down my curtain rod, so I needed something more lightweight.
The magnets are impressively strong and securely hold the weights in place without slipping. Installation couldn’t be easier. Simply position them on each side of the curtain fabric and allow the magnets to connect. No tools, clips, or complicated setup required. Super quick and easy.
I especially like the rubber-coated exterior, which helps protect both the weights and the fabric. The coating feels durable and suitable for outdoor use. The weights are substantial enough to keep curtains hanging straight in light wind, while still being compact and unobtrusive. I added 4sets of weights to each of my outdoor curtain panels.
Since adding these to my patio curtains, they stay much neater and don’t flap around nearly as much during light wind conditions. They also work well for other outdoor fabrics, including tablecloths and decorative panels.
