Long battery life, good quality, plenty brigh
So I’ll start off by saying I have been using this light in my interior closet and have not tired it outdoors yet but the USBC type charging port has a weather tight rubber boot on it so I would assume it would be fine outside as well. I love how this light has a soft yellow/ white light because before I had a LED light in this closet that was all white and did not look good but this color light is similar to a traditional lightbulb, which I love. It comes with the clip hook that makes it super easy to remove and charge. It also comes with a remote to be able to adjust the motion, sensitivity time, duration of the motion activation, as well as disabling motion for turning the light manually on and off and adjusting the brightness. The remote, however, has not needed because it’s a manual switch on the side of the light. It’s plenty bright and the battery lasts long. Overall great product !
Quick solution to darkness
I love a good “no electrician required” solution and this is exactly that. If you’ve got a dark corner outside and zero desire to spend they kinda money one spends when doing all things electric, here you go! Mine is an extremely short walkway. My neighborhood is a “dark skies” neighborhood which means there are no streetlights and theyd rather not have our porch lights hit outer space or even the street. So this teeny stretch is an issue, specially in winter, and hilariously, especially for the later in the day Amazon drivers!!
First off this one is really BRIGHT. 700 lumens is no joke for a battery light. This isn’t cute like my twinkle lights are this is like an old guy raising his fist in the air!. The only problem was my fence is pretty short so to mount it on a fence for me meant blinding everyone. So mine is buried in the plants!!! and it STILL works!.
The Motion sensor is responsive without being overly dramatic as far as I know(-cars driving by dont set it off. But footsteps do, which is exactly what I want.
The remote is a nice touch once you figure it out. after a few button presses you’ll get your system down. Three modes and brightness levels = you can go from subtle glow to full interrogation mode.
I love that it is rechargeable. Im not sure it will last as long as its claimed, check back with me m in three months, but so far so flawless
A couple small things:
like all battery-powered options, you will need to recharge it eventually
Remote + modes has a tiny learning curve
If you’re expecting floodlight-level coverage for a huge area, this isn’t that (but it’s strong for its size)
Im giving a 4 star ONLY because of two thing looks, it looks plastic, it is plastic, and the light itself is only adjustable side to side, not open and down. but it’s kind of priceless how quickly I got it set up and working and apparently wont need to recharge until solstice.
Finally a battery light that doesn't die after two days!
I’ve been looking for a good solution for the dark side of our garage where there isn’t any electrical wiring, and I’m tired of those cheap solar ones that barely glow. This Nirosun light is a whole different beast. First off, the 10000mAh battery is huge for a light like this. I charged it up full when it arrived (took a few hours via USB) and it has been going strong for over two weeks now on the motion sensor setting without needing another charge.The build quality feels solid, not that thin brittle plastic you usually see. It’s got a nice weight to it. The brightness is actually 700 lumens as advertised—it lights up my whole side walkway so the kids don’t trip over their bikes when we get home late. The remote is a nice touch too, especially since I mounted it up high. I can change the modes without dragging out the ladder. One little “oops” on my part—I didn’t realize the remote needs a clear line of sight to work well, so if you’re around the corner it might be finicky.Installation was a breeze, just two screws and the bracket holds it firm. It’s rained twice since I put it up and no issues with the “IP65” waterproofing so far. My only minor gripe is that the motion sensor is almost too sensitive sometimes; it caught a neighborhood cat from about 20 feet away, but I guess for a security light that’s actually what you want. If your looking for something reliable that you don’t have to hardwire, this is definitely worth the money.
