If you are picturing a large stepping stone please refer to the description, they are small and they are not solid so grass will grow up between the netting if you put them on grass. I think I might choose a different option next time because of that.
Gardenised Natural River Pebble Stepping Stones earn five stars from me because they are as the listing describes, and will make a nice addition to my landscaping.
You get a coordinated set of four 4″ 12″ mesh-backed pavers that can be left outside year-round. The backing allows water to flow through while holding the rocks in place, preventing pooling. The rocks don’t degrade from exposure to water.
I originally intended to use these pavers as stepping stones, but after looking at gardening ideas, I saw them used to beautifully edge an area, so that’s what I’ve decided to do (in an area that is not currently paved).
Although they can be used on concrete, you’ll want to prepare the surface using proper base materials and perhaps even glue them down.
These are shipped in a box that seems impossibly small and lightweight, but there was no breakage. The mesh is backed by paper that does not need to be removed, it will biodegrade over time.
I used a similar product four years ago that’s held up nicely; I have every reason to believe these will, too.
