I am absolutely obsessed with the Melodysusie Cordless UV Nail Lamp! This has been a total game changer for doing my nails at home. The cordless feature is so convenient—I can use it anywhere without being stuck near an outlet, which I didn’t realize I needed until I had it!
It cures gel polish quickly and evenly, and I’ve had zero issues with my nails not setting properly. Absolutely love this UV light. It’s compact and easy to take along if needed but also great at home. I like that I can just rotate the top at whatever angle I need and I don’t have to use a cord so it’s so convenient. Really well made and the battery lasts awhile!
Compact Solution To Awkward Thumb Placeme
This is such a great little device to have. I’ve had a lot of different UV lamps over the years and none of them were as successful as this one at addressing the awkward thumb situation. The light swivels in all directions and the thumb placement area can even be used for single finger curing as well. It has simple to understand controls and is easy to charge.
My only complaint about this device is that the little protective glass cover that goes over the digital display keeps falling out. I decided to fix it with a little glue, so it’s not a deal breaker for me.. just something to look out for. Maybe I just received a defective one and it’s not the case for all?
But overall, it’s a good quality device that is portable, durable, effective, and functions as it’s supposed to. I get quickly set nails every time. It’s comfortable and easy to use as well. For best value, I recommend grabbing one when on sale! Definitely recommend.
Nifty lamp that solves the thumb awkwardness
I am really loving this Melodysusie UV nail lamp! It is perfect for being able to cure all my fingers comfortably since it has a separate curing area for thumbs. Normally you have to awkwardly shove your thumb up in there and hope for the best. I also have horrible spatial awareness and accidentally tap my wet nails against the sidewalls of regular lamps all the time, but this lamp eliminates those issues.
The lamp cures my gels quickly and has two time settings to choose from (35 sec and 65 sec). If I’m curing my own nails, it will automatically detect when I’ve inserted my hand and thumb and turn on the lamps. If I’m curing swatches, press ons, etc and won’t be inserting my thumb to trigger the auto-on, then I have the option of just pushing the time button twice to manually start it.
This lamp is rechargeable and comes with a usb c cable and block to plug it in. It does not need to be plugged in to use it, so it’s super portable and easy to maneuver as you need. The digital display shows you how much battery life is left, when it is charging, and the timer countdown. The included instructions are easy to follow.
High-Quality UV!
I’ve been using a smaller travel-size UV lamp for my gel polish, which is inconvenient; curing nails one at a time is not efficient, and this is most definitely an upgrade! It’s rechargeable, making it perfect for travel, or for hassle-free use at home. It’s large, has two light “stations” for simultaneous curing of fingers and thumb, and easily adjusts to the perfect angle for your hand size. With two settings – 35 seconds for lighter applications and 65 for heavier ones, this lamp will give you professional results at home and save you money on pricey salon visits, making it well worth the price. This has gotten me excited about experimenting with gel polish and wraps again, and I recommend it!
Works Great!
I am genuinely so impressed with this UV lamp. It cured my stubborn top coats in record time. Th battery life on this is also quite impressive. I was able to do my nails start to finish no problem. There are two different ways to cure your nails, but I loved the insert section more because of how the light shines in there. It really cured the nails the best from all the angles.
The shape of the lamp is also super convenient for storage and travel. I can easily fit it on my shelf, in a drawer, or in a bag for travel.
