Hands down, the best sleeping blanket i've ever had.
I absolutely LOVE this blanket. So much so, I got another. And now I’m honestly considering upgrading all my sheet sets to fit with a Muslin Blanket. It’s so soft, looks amazing, and it’s easy to wash and care for. And it gets softer with each wash you give it. I have never put it in the dryer, I don’t dare. I air dry it.
The queen-size, which I got, fits perfectly for us.
It’s breathable for the warm nights, and warm enough for the cold. I’m so happy I took a chance on this, by reading a random recomendation bout the blanket. Not this brand, but this brand was on sale when I was looking, and I figured why not? Best purchase in a while.
I can’t say for sure, but if you wash it according to the instructions, I don’t see it wearing out. Cotton is a durable and long-lasting fabric. Treat it right, and you probably have amazing blankets for a very long time.
I took a chance on this blanket for my husband who is a hot sleeper. While it isn’t a cooling blanket it is perfect because of how breathable it is. He has not been sweating at night. He appreciates the weight and how soft it is after washing. It feels cozy without causing him to overheat. Even though it was purchased for him I use it just as much because it’s just that awesome.
Cooling claim: I sleep HOT. Ladies over a certain stage of life, and the men that know/love them, y’all know what I mean. This lightweight.. I can barely call it a blanket, but we’ll go with that term for lack of a better one, has helped me have better rest than I’ve had in well over a year.
Wear and care: I’ve only washed it twice, and I did follow the manufacturer’s directions, and an very pleased to report no shrinkage and very slight fading. I personally am fine with the very slight fading as I realize that supports the fact that the ‘blanket’ is made of natural fibers – my preference. Also, my cat enjoys it and I’ve not seen only a few snags from her little paws, not likely from our (human) use.
Appearance: The gauze texture is pleasing but if you are looking for ‘ luxurious, eh maybe this would be better as a throw, or underneath a fancier duvet etc. I really liked the terracotta color, albeit I was unsure about it when I ordered. I assumed it would fade some (discussed that earlier) and took a chance that it wouldn’t be too aggressively ‘pow’ and I’m glad I did.
Overall: Very satisfied with my purchase and do recommend to others especially those I want to help with better sleep.
So soft and comfortable, lightweight just perfect for the hot summer months coming up and for those gals out there that tend to heat up in the middle of the night, you girls know what I mean.
GREAT Blanket!
OMG!! I love this blanket!. It is so soft to the touch. The color shown onsite is exactly what I received. I have washed it several time and the condition is just as good if not better. The description said it would get softer with washing and it does. I have a double bed but bougth a queen size for the drape over. I think the double would have fit fine by happy I sized up. It is perfect for summer sleeping in my basement apartment.
