A decent priced FLARE NUT crows feet wrench se
I have always just had a a small set of SAE crows feet flare nut wrenches over the years. With more and more cars I work on today I wanted to get a metric set but I didn’t want to invest heavily into a set as I would only use them sporadically. When this set came available I acquired it. I’m very glad I did as I have already used a few of the wrenches on a water pump job. They made the job much easier as I had really limited access on the car. The wrenches themselves are decent. They aren’t fancy chrome or polished but they seem to be fairly strong and machined okay – flat black finish. I wont say they are true professional wrenches but for the average DIY mechanic they certainly will do the job and for an affordable price tag. The extension bars and reducer are chromed but are cheaper versions, but adequate. It’s a good complete set up to 24mm but then skips a few sizes up to 32mm. Not a big deal really as I mainly use these for the smaller sizes. Be very careful though and remember that these wrenches are flare nut style and may not work always in really tight areas as you cant just slide them onto a bolt head or nut…they have to come from the top side then slide down onto the fastener head or nut. The carrying case is cheap and doesn’t really hold some of the wrenches tight but it at least keeps them together and organized. They will fall out of their respective slots easily if the case opens up while carrying them. I say this is a decent set for someone looking for an affordable crows feet flare nut set but doesn’t want to spend a lot on it. Would I get it again, probably.

Makes Tight Hydraulic and Line Fittings Much Easier to Reach
This wrench set has been especially useful for working on hard to access fittings like brake lines, fuel lines, and other tight hydraulic connections. I’ve used it mainly in automotive situations where a standard wrench just cannot get the right angle, and pairing it with extensions and a ratchet really opens up access in confined spaces.

In use, the CR MO steel construction feels strong and capable of handling higher torque when needed. The 6 point design grips flare nuts securely, which helps reduce slipping on fittings that are often rounded or difficult to break loose. Having both 3/8 and 1/2 drive sizes included makes it flexible across different jobs, and the range of metric sizes covers most common automotive applications. The included storage case also keeps everything organized, which helps when switching between sizes during a job.

Overall, this is a very practical specialty set for anyone doing automotive or mechanical work involving tight line fittings. The main strengths are the access it provides in confined spaces, the secure grip on flare nuts, and the broad size coverage. It’s not something used for every task, but when you run into those awkward, inaccessible fasteners, it becomes a very useful part of the toolbox.

Great price, large set. Well made
Great price, no skips, well made crows feet. 8mm to 32mm. Well casted with out normal imperfections on cheaper tools. Strong and durrable metal. There is no point in buying expensive sets now a days. These are awesome. So far. The fitment of every crows foot has been accurate with no slipping.

Comprehensive metric set of crows-foot wrenches. Storage case is convenient if needed.
Crows -foot wrenches don’t get utilized much by me. I have a good deal of tools that fall into the same category, but when you need them, it’s darn nice to have them on hand so you can do the job right. That’s how I feel about this set — not going to be used frequently, but it has most of my metric-need bases well-covered when I do.

It’s always difficult to fully determine or speak to ultimate build-quality until you really push tools to their limits, but for a fairly competent DIYer like myself, these wrenches are looking on the good end of the build-quality spectrum, but not high-price professional quality. They are a tad rough around the edges in terms of pure refinement, but the tolerances look good, so for me, I don’t see much benefit in having a more expensive set on hand. The size markings are clear and easy to read, and they appear to be laser-etched, which I prefer over engraved markings which I find more difficult to see. The set does come with a few ratchet extensions and an adapter with a build-quality that is adequate for crows-foot wrenches.

All of the components come in and stow away conveniently in a pretty good case. The case does take up some space compared to just keeping the wrenches in the toolbox, but if you want to store them separately, the case does a fine job of it.

For an off-brand, budget-minded set, I think these are good, particularly for a DIYer. I did not see any information in the product description as to a warranty, so I asked the manufacturer and received a speedy, polite reply that there is indeed a one-year warranty. The current price for the set is $54 and I think that’s not bad, but I wouldn’t mind if it were a little lower. Regardless, for the price, and for what I see in the set, I think it’s worthy of a solid four stars, perhaps more.
