Very easy to assemble and get setup. We can easily move around inside as well as fit our full size air mattress inside.
Materials are quality, and well made. Holds up to light rain and heavy dew. Plenty of airflow, and the ability to open or close the windows is great.
Size is perfect for 2 campers with a air mattress, can easily fit the 4 people if using sleeping bags.
Well worth the money for a decent sized tent for the occasional weekend camping trip

Last year I bought a giant tent and it failed miserably. It never even made it up. I ended up getting something quick and dry but it wasn’t very comfortable. So… I went in the other direction this time.
I attend the same festival every Aug for 10 days. Camping with friends is the point but I need to have private space and way more ventilation when it’s sweltering. I’m excited for this little gem. It was easy to get up. It takes longer the first time but after that I had no problem doing it myself.
This tent is the perfect size. I’m 5″4′ with headroom all around, no stooping. It will fit my queen cot w/air mattress, my little potty and small amount of clothing. I really love the huge front door and windows on every side. I’ll be putting it under a 12×12 shade tent with removable side walls for additional shade and rain protection. If it’s hot and dry I can remove the fly screen to sleep on hot days for major ventilation. I can also lower the canopy for stability during windy storms and my tent will have added protection.
Very excited about this year. Last year was brutal.
Heavy duty construction, extra height, four season te
This tent comes with a medium size carrying bag that holds all of the pieces. This tent has both fiberglass and metal poles with the fiberglass poles crisscrossing on the top and the metal poles providing supports at the corners. They connect via a plastic elbow at the top of each corner.
This tent can be set up by one person, but it is easier to do with two. This tent has extra height which allows you to stand up easier inside the tent and is especially nice for taller people.
This tent has three windows and a door. They are all accessible from the inside of the tent, which is especially nice if it starts to rain, then you can open and close the windows from the inside.
Under the two side windows are hanging gear pockets. The corner of the tent has an access port for electrical cords. The center of the roof has a gear loft with a hook to use to hang a light or fan.
This tent is large enough to hold a queen-size mattress and gear. This is a four-season tent and can be used even in cold weather as the windows can all be closed to provide heat retention. The floor is made of heavy-duty tarp material, and all of the seams are well sealed. The corners of the floor are reinforced for extra durability.
⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Great Budget-Friendly Tent That’s Perfect for Weekend Camping
I recently purchased the Happy Travel 4 Person Camping Tent and was honestly impressed with how well it performed for the price. My family and I used it on a weekend camping trip, and it exceeded my expectations in several areas including setup, space, and ventilation.
Setup & Portability:
One of the biggest advantages of this tent is how easy it is to set up. The instructions are straightforward, and it took two of us about 3–5 minutes to get everything fully assembled. Even if you’re new to camping, the pole design and clip system make it very beginner-friendly. The tent is also lightweight at around 8.5 pounds, so transporting it in the included carry bag was easy and convenient.
Space & Comfort:
For a 4-person tent, the interior space is surprisingly roomy. The floor dimensions are roughly 102″ x 94.5″ with a center height of about 61 inches, which allowed me to sit upright comfortably without feeling cramped. It easily fit a queen-size air mattress with some extra room for bags and gear. The extra headroom makes a noticeable difference compared to many other dome tents in this price range.
Ventilation & Views:
Another feature I really liked was the ventilation. The tent has large mesh panels and windows on multiple sides, which allowed for excellent airflow during warmer nights. When the rainfly is removed, the mesh roof makes it great for stargazing while still keeping bugs out. This is a nice touch that made the camping experience more enjoyable.
Weather Protection:
The waterproof polyester fabric and rainfly did a good job protecting us from light rain and morning dew. The tent uses a PU-coated fabric with a waterproof rating of around 2000–3000mm and a thick PE floor to prevent ground moisture from getting in. For normal camping conditions like mild rain and wind, it held up well and kept the inside dry.
Things to Keep in Mind:
Like most budget tents, there are a few small trade-offs. The zippers can occasionally snag if you rush them, and the material is not as thick as premium camping tents. I wouldn’t recommend this tent for extreme weather or heavy storms, but for casual camping, festivals, or backyard camping trips it performs very well for the price.
