Beautify feeder with great view, but I do worry about durability
I really like that this gives a better view of our hummingbird visitors. That’s the biggest draw for me, and it makes it feel more fun and interesting than a more basic feeder.
The glass is lovely and gives it a nicer look than a lot of feeders. The overall quality seems good too, so at first glance it makes a strong impression.
My one hesitation is durability. We have larger and finicky wildlife around here, and I know there’s a good chance this feeder is going to get knocked down at least a few times. That makes me a little nervous, even though I still like it a lot.
The price feels in line with other camera bird feeders we’ve tried, so I think the value is fair. I’m happy with it overall, just a little cautious about how it will hold up over time.
Beautiful and functional
This is a beautiful little feeder. The blown glass top has bright, summery colors that catch the sun and reflect a lovely image. It fits perfectly in the base and there is no spillage at all. The camera was pretty easy to set up. It requires a slower connection than most people have, but there are instructions advising that you just move further from the router to force a slower connection. That worked perfectly for me. I was able to take it to the back edge of my property for setup, and when I brought it closer to the house it still worked. the solar panel is sturdy and durable and it has a decent cord connecting it. I hung the feeder under a tree and was able to install the panel on a top branch to maximize sunlight. Hummingbirds found it within a day or two, and they have been visiting daily since then. The birds really seem to love it, they come back and enjoy all day. I love that you don’t have to pay for a subscription like you do with most smart feeders. I miss out on the automatic identification but we only have two species of hummingbird in this area and they’re easy to tell apart so I opted out of paying. I might change my mind on that at some point, and I can connect the service any time I decide to. I don’t usually get squirrels or pests on my hummingbird feeder, just the bird feeder. But I like knowing there’s an alarm in case one of my cats gets too close. It was a bit on the spendy side but all in all this is a lovely feeder for any bird lover.

Beyond amazingly cool!!! I bought this after watching hummingbirds from afar in our yard for years, and within 2 hours of setting it up it paid off!! We LOVE this feeder, and have gotten to see some really amazing videos of all sorts of birds, including hummingbirds, in less than a week of using it. We filled our feeder with pre-mixed nectar instead of water so as to specifically target the “audience” we were seeking to see and boy did it ever pay off! Five VERY enthusiastic stars!
