Easy to setup and bright light to display garden or outdoors at nigh
Easy to setup and works great. I set them up to light up a flower bed for night viewing. Unlike the Govee pathway lights, these lights do not disconnect from the wiring so less chance of water penetration but if one fails then that could be a problem. But this makes setup much faster then having to connect the wiring to each light. The ground stake holds up the lights well and the lights are adjustable. As other Govee products it is easy to control on the app and to setup an on and off schedule.
Easy to set up and use and great outdoor lighting
The setup was pretty straightforward with the ground stakes, and I like that you can easily adjust the angle and placement depending on what you want to highlight – trees, walls, or garden areas. They feel sturdy and well-made, and so far they’ve held up well outdoors.
The lighting itself is impressive. The colors are vibrant, and there are tons of options to choose from. I like that you can switch between fun RGB lighting and more practical white light when you need better visibility. The preset scenes make it easy to change things up without having to manually adjust everything.
The smart features are also a big plus. Being able to control the lights through an app or with voice commands (Alexa/Google) makes it really convenient, especially once everything is set up. Like all Govee things they are super easy to set up and pair and then use the app to control.
They’re bright enough to make a noticeable difference outside, but not overpowering, and they work well for both ambiance and function.
These are a great option if you’re looking to upgrade your outdoor lighting with something versatile, customizable, and easy to control. They add a nice touch to any patio, yard, or garden space.

I picked up the Govee Outdoor Spotlights Lite 4-pack, and for the price, they’re a solid choice. The lights have a good range of colors and brightness levels, so you can go from bright white for functionality to a more vibrant look when you want to set a mood. Perfect for lighting up the yard or adding some color to your garden.
The installation was super easy, just stick the stakes in the ground and adjust the angles to your liking. It’s a simple, no-hassle setup.
The smart control is also a nice feature. You can control them with Alexa, Google Assistant, or through the app, which makes them easy to use. I also like the preset scenes, handy if you don’t want to mess with settings every time.
One thing to note is that you can’t extend the cables like you can with the Spotlights 2. So if you need to space them out further, this might not be the best option. But overall, for the price, they’re a great deal for outdoor lighting. Just haven’t had them long enough to comment on how they hold up in really cold weathe
Creates a beautiful night time atmosphere
I recently got these Outdoor Spotlights by Govee and I am really impressed with the quality of them. The colors are awesome looking at night. They also have an app that you use to control them like a remote which is nice because Inalways lose the remotes to lights I’ve bought in the past. When you have an app remote it’s as easy as pulling it up in your phone. It also is responsive and works immediately when you have it set up. It’s user friendly and doesn’t take a whole lot to figure it out.
The colors are vivid and look great in the garden or they would look good near a pond or something g similar. It’s a beautiful way to light up your yard at night without being too overpowering. It’s got a nice ambiance to it. I think it’s cool that you can make it create a light show if you want or they can just simply stay on. They are all connected to each other and with waterproof wires so you eliminate the shock risk for the most part. They are also easy as pie to install. I did it myself instead of asking the husband to do it because it was just so easy and I have to admit I was a little bit excited to see them all lit up and making the garden look nice at night. It really does create a beautiful and peaceful atmosphere wherever you set it up.
I definitely recommend this light set up and will be using it for as long as they stay working.
These Outdoor Spotlights can be added to your Home Automatio
Over the years we have owned more than our fair share of Solar Powered yard lights. The one thing they all had in common is that they would not last the entire night. If we had a backyard party that lasted past 10pm, they would always lose power and dim out. The other issue was if the day of the party was cloudy we would have to pull the lights from the ground, bring them into the garage and charge them up with spotlights so they would work that night. It got to be too much of a pain so we came to Amazon to look for lights that could run off of house power. When we came across these Govee we ordered a set to try.
Govee is a well known brand and most of their products support Home Assistant so we knew these were going to be a good fit for us. We use Home Assistant for other home entertainment related tasks and adding in the yard lights was a breeze.
What I like about these Outdoor Lights:
* They are supported by our Home Assistant system.
* The run off of House Power to a 24VDC adapter so we never have to worry about them running out of power.
* They have a PC app and apps for both Android and IOS so they can easily be controlled from anywhere.
* The software has Theme-Based settings (Halloween, Easter, Christmas, 4th of July, Party, Thunderstorm and many more)
* You can also just set the lights to be just lights of one solid color (just pick one of the 16 Million colors they can be)
Sure, it’s a bit of a pain to run power to the backyard to power them, but they will never run dim early in the night, they work even after cloudy days and these have way more brightness and functions than any solar light on the market.
I’ll take a one-time hassle over the constant hassle and worry of yard lights that might quit too early in the night.
