This is a really nice quality transfer pump kit for the price. Great value over the cost of typical units you find at stores like Tractor Supply. The pump is easy to assemble and comes with oil resistant thread tape. Simple wiring, pos/neg which can be run via alligator clips for a temp or portable install or direct terminal wired for permanent installs. The 1/3 hp pump works as well as similar sized units I’ve used in the past. Nothing has leaked so far, including the hand nozzle which is the first place it tends to leak for me in past. Hose is really good quality thick pliable rubber and I really appreciate that they include a swivel fitting for it to keep it from getting kinked. Filter is standard size and thread for these applications, nothing special on that point. I think I’d give this kit a try before buying at harbor freight or tractor supply, if your in the market for a diesel transfer pump.
Works very well, good quality
I had no trouble getting it all set up in my garage. I got everything I needed, plus a power cord. The kit came with everything I needed to get started, like a hose, a filter, a power cord, and an adjustable telescoping suction tube to fit my drums. They all fit just fine. It primed pretty easily and the automatic shut off on the nozzle worked great. I didn’t have to babysit the transfer anymore; I was able to let it finish transferring fuel without worrying.
The flow rate of the fuel being transferred was really quick, and transferring fuel took about 1/3 the time I thought it would.
The motor stays cool the whole time I transferred fuel, and both diesel and gasoline flow easily with no issues so I don’t need to have a separate pump for each type of fuel. I can keep one on my property. Its nozzle turns off when the tanks are full, but the overflow catch cup is smaller than I would have liked and it also does not catch as much overflow as I would have liked.
The connection between the tank and the mounting plate is tight, and the entire setup is doing just fine in outdoor weather conditions.
Heavy-Duty Fuel Transfer Pump That Delivers Power And Reliability

It handles both diesel and gasoline efficiently, and once set up, it runs smoothly and consistently every time.
The included components round out the package nicely. The hose is made from durable materials and doesn’t feel flimsy, and the fuel dispenser nozzle is solidly built as well. The auto shut-off feature is a great addition, helping prevent spills and making the process cleaner and less stressful. It also feels like a complete kit, with everything you need to get started without having to track down extra parts.
Installation is straightforward, and the 2″ NPT mount integrates well with transfer tank setups. Once everything is in place, it performs exactly as you’d expect from a higher-end pump—reliable, fast, and capable of repeated use.
The only small improvement I’d suggest is with the vinyl wrap on the handle. It would be even better if it were permanently bonded or coated, as it may allow dirt or debris to get underneath over time. That said, it’s a minor detail and doesn’t impact the pump’s performance.
Overall, this is a powerful, well-built, and dependable fuel transfer pump that’s absolutely worth it if you need speed and reliability. Easily a 5-star product.
Complete kit with everything needed for install onto most any tank with a 2” NPT bung.
I picked up this pump kit for use on a 55 gallon drum that I take into town and buy dyed diesel for much less than gas station diesel due to not being required to pay road use tax for my tractors. After unboxing the pump it quickly became apparent that this pump is heavy duty and as a result I felt it was too heavy for my barrel as the top flexed far more than I was comfortable with once installed. I am now searching for a portable transfer tank which is made of much heavier gauge metal to support the weight. The hose is 13ft long with 3/4″ fittings, flexible yet, not flimsy and a nice swivel where it attaches to the nozzle that has both a handle lock as well as auto off to prevent over filling. The 18ft power cable is plenty long to reach the battery on my crew cab truck however, I will be installing a plug which allows me to use power from the 7 pin RV trailer connector which is much more convenient. Pump kit contains everything you need to install onto most any tank as long as it has a solid 2″ NPT bung for mounting. Overall very happy with the quality of this well thought out kit which is far more affordable than the name brand pumps that most don’t include everything needed for installation.
