Edit to add +1 star. This tent has been through 4 thunderstorms with wind and 1/2″ to 2″ of rain each time. It has not leaked or seeped a drop of water. Bone dry inside. Impressed.
I had “2-4 person” in mind, and this is way bigger than expected. I am used to my “2-3 person” backpacking tent, which is a sardine can with 3 people and zero gear. This tent would sleep 6 kids easily.
This is not a backpacking tent based on the size and weight. But for car-camping it’s great.
The floor and “porch” waterproof material seems thicker than comparable tents. This checks with the 3000mm waterproof rating that is higher than some others. I typically put down a sheet of plastic under the tent, but I’m not sure it’s necessary for most sites with this tent. And the clear windows are an interesting detail, provided the plastic lasts. Otherwise sight lines and visibility out is poor.
The rain fly does not strictly require the guy-ropes to stay up, but I think they’re needed if any sort of wind or rain is expected. Once the fly is wet, it lays against the inner tent without the guy-ropes.
The poles seem sturdy. The metal ferrules are a bit oversized, but the loose fit does make the poles go together easier and doesn’t matter once arched into a bow and secured. At the corners, the end of the pole plugs into a hole in the plastic tab. This is an inferior design to having a short metal peg that slips up inside the last ferrule because it comes out of place if you try to move the tent. That said, it’s not an issue if you stake out the 4 corners of the tent first.
The tent clips to the poles, so no fishing the poles through a fabric sleeve. This is not as secure for heavy weather, but sure is easier to set up for the type of weather you want to be camping in.
All the zippers are smooth, and all stitching is essentially perfect. Can’t gage the quality and UV resistance of the nylon yet, but it seems soft and consistent. Some of it has a silver inner coating for heat rejection.
I like the extra detail of the air freshener and two extra stakes. We’re already off to fun memories with this tent.
This is a good size tent that could easily sleep 2 to 4 people. The material was standard tent material, with quality zippers that appeared to be water resistant. If you have any tent experience, you will be able to get this tent put up in a couple minutes. If you have never put a tent together, I recommend practicing at home before you take it to the woods. Although the instructions were attached to the carrying case to ensure they will never get lost, they are not very detailed. The shell of the base tent was easy to make, the rainfly and porch cover was a little more confusing. Once we had it on the tent, it was easier to figure out the front. And once staked out, it came together well. The ‘porch’ on this is perfect to keep the dirty shoes and clothes out of the tent. There are windows that can be covered for privacy, to give the tent a little more room for changing, etc. I recommend.
Overall very happy with this tent. Bought for camping this year, and was worried since alot of tents claim to be waterproof. I took it with me as a backup from my roomier main tent, but had to use due to unforseen circumstances. Took about 20 min to put up, since I didn’t read instructions. Decided to add rain fly since that was my luck. Around midnight, I began to hear thunder/ lightning. Soon after the rain came. I worried and waited for the rain to start leaking in, never happened. The storm later hours and not 1 dro0 of rain came into the tent. Slight flooding in the vestibule, most my error putting it up, but never had a tent that didnt leak a little. Tent was a but smaller them i like, but is waterproof and a darn nice tent.
This EchoSmile tent turned out to be an excellent purchase and far more versatile than I originally expected. While it’s marketed as a camping tent, it also works wonderfully for beach trips, parks, festivals, lakeside outings, sporting events, recreational areas, and family day trips anywhere tents or sun shelters are permitted.
The first thing I noticed was how roomy the design is. The “one bedroom, one living room” layout makes a huge difference compared to standard tents. The extended vestibule area is incredibly useful for storing shoes, coolers, backpacks, towels, beach gear, or wet items without cluttering the main sleeping space. It really helps keep everything organized and comfortable.
The ventilation system is another standout feature. The mesh airflow design keeps the inside feeling fresh even on warmer days, and the dual PVC windows are a great touch for enjoying scenery while staying protected from wind or rain. This would be especially useful at the beach or park if a quick rain shower rolls through unexpectedly.
I was also impressed with the overall quality and weather protection. The waterproof outer material and UV-blocking interior coating give peace of mind whether using it for overnight camping, afternoon shade at the beach, or relaxing at a recreational area during summer heat. The silver-coated fabric noticeably helps reduce heat inside the tent.
One of the best parts is how lightweight and easy it is to transport. At around 11 pounds, it’s manageable for weekend trips and simple enough for beginners to set up without frustration. The included E-port is also very convenient for charging devices or running small accessories when power is available nearby.
Overall, this is a well-designed, comfortable, and multi-purpose tent that works great for families, couples, or anyone who enjoys spending time outdoors. It’s spacious, practical, easy to carry, and adaptable for far more activities than traditional camping alone. Excellent value for the quality and thoughtful features included.
Love this tent.
Tent instructions are clear and easy to understand. Materials are good quality and stitching is solid. I much prefer the plastic hooks that connect to the poles, over other tents that have fabric sleeves you slide the poles into to hold up the tent. Less of a chance of the poles ripping the fabric. Overhang setup was easy and the fact that you can extend/collapse it without having to take it apart is an added bonus. Did not use it in the rain yet so I cannot review for leakage. If you are looking for a tent that is great for beginners, I would highly recommend this one.
Super leicht und platzsparend, fr 2 Personen optimal
Im Rahmen von Amazon Vine bekamen wir das EchosSmile Zelt als kostenloses Testprodukt. Das Zelt kommt gut und sicher verpackt zuhause an, die Verarbeitung ist sehr gut. Das Zelt lsst sich schnell und unkompliziert aufbauen und steht auch sehr stabil wenn man die Bodenanker nutzt. Im Zelt finden bis zwar bis zu 4 Personen Platz aber dann wird es kuschelig, 2 Personen finde ich persnlich optimal vom Platz her. Das Zelt ist auch Wasserdicht, konnte bei Regen besttigt werden. Der Abbau des Zeltes ist auch kinderleicht und es lsst sich dann wieder ganz einfach in die Tragetasche einpacken wodurch es dann wieder beim Transport sehr platzsparend ist. Fr den Wochenendausflug ins Freie ist das Zelt bestens geeignet und erfllt seinen Zweck auch auf ganzer Linie, daher gibt es auch volle 5 Sterne
Durchdachtes Camping fr Einsteiger Das EchoSmile 4-Personen-Kuppelzel
Dieses EchoSmile-Zelt ist ein klassisches “Familien- und Festivalzelt”, das besonders durch seine Raumaufteilung berzeugt. Es ist weniger ein hochalpines Extremzelt, sondern ein sehr praktischer Begleiter fr entspannte Tage in der Natur.
Raumkonzept & Komfort
Die Aufteilung in “Schlafbereich” und “Flur” (Vorzelt) ist bei einem Kuppelzelt dieser Preisklasse ein echtes Plus.
Der Flur: Dass du einen separierten Bereich hast, um schmutzige Schuhe, Ruckscke oder die Khlbox zu lagern, schont den Schlafbereich enorm. Es hlt den Innenraum sauber und du vermeidest das unangenehme Gefhl, ber Ausrstung stolpern zu mssen, wenn du nachts kurz aus dem Zelt mchtest.
PVC-Fenster: Die transparenten Fenster sind ein schnes Detail, um auch bei schlechtem Wetter Licht in den Vorraum zu lassen, ohne das Zelt ffnen zu mssen. Das gibt ein weniger “eingeengtes” Gefhl.
Wetterfestigkeit & Klima
Wasserfestigkeit: Die Angabe von 2000 mm Wassersule ist solide fr normales bis miges Wetter in Mitteleuropa. Die Nahtversiegelung ist hier entscheidend — achte beim Aufbau darauf, dass das berzelt (Flysheet) stramm gespannt ist, damit Wasser sauber abflieen kann und nicht in den Nhten steht.
UV-Schutz: Die Silberbeschichtung ist ein hervorragendes Feature. Sie reflektiert Sonnenlicht und heizt den Innenraum an sonnigen Tagen weniger stark auf. Das ist bei Zelten oft der Unterschied zwischen einer “Sauna” am frhen Morgen und einem angenehmen Schlaf.
Lftung: Die Kombination aus B3-Netz (feine Maschen gegen Mcken) und oben liegender Entlftung ist wichtig, um das “Kondenswasser-Problem” (Schwitzen an den Innenwnden) zu minimieren.
Praxistipps fr den Einsatz
Aufbau: Als Kuppelzelt mit aerodynamischer Silhouette ist es sehr windstabil. Mit ca. 5 kg Gewicht ist es fr ein 4-Personen-Zelt erstaunlich leicht.
Platzbedarf: Die Angabe “4 Personen” bezieht sich bei Zeltmaen immer auf den maximalen Platz (wie in einem Reisebus). Fr einen komfortablen Schlaf mit Isomatten und Gepck ist es ideal fr 2 bis 3 Erwachsene oder eine junge Familie.
E-Port: Ein kleines, aber feines Detail. Wenn du auf einem Campingplatz mit Stromanschluss bist, ist der Kabeleingang extrem hilfreich, um eine Lampe oder eine Khlbox sicher mit Strom zu versorgen.
Fazit
Fr den Preis von rund 100 erhltst du ein durchdachtes Einsteigerzelt, das vor allem durch seine Vielseitigkeit und den zustzlichen Stauraum (Vorzelt) besticht. Es ist der ideale Begleiter fr das Wochenende im Garten, den Campingplatz-Urlaub oder Festivals.
Pro:

Erstaunlich viel Platz und gute Verarbeitung frs Geld
Ich habe das Zelt bisher nur probeweise im Garten aufgebaut und dort bei etwas Regen sowie leichtem Wind getestet. Fr diesen ersten Eindruck schlgt es sich allerdings ziemlich gut, denn weder Feuchtigkeit noch Wind waren dabei ein Problem.
Der Aufbau ist relativ unkompliziert und auch alleine machbar, selbst wenn es natrlich nicht an ein klassisches Wurfzelt herankommt. Dafr ist das Packma deutlich angenehmer und auch das Gewicht bleibt fr die gebotene Gre erstaunlich moderat, was gerade beim Transport ein echter Vorteil ist.
Sehr gut gefllt mir die Aufteilung mit dem kleinen Vorraum, weil man dort Schuhe, Taschen oder nasse Dinge ablegen kann, ohne den eigentlichen Schlafbereich direkt vollzustellen. Dadurch wirkt das Ganze im Alltag deutlich praktischer als viele einfache Kuppelzelte ohne separaten Bereich.
Die Verarbeitung macht insgesamt einen ordentlichen Eindruck und die Belftung scheint sinnvoll gelst zu sein. Die kleinen Sichtfenster im Vorraum sind auerdem eine nette Idee, weil der Bereich dadurch weniger geschlossen und etwas wohnlicher wirkt.
Natrlich wird sich die wirkliche Alltagstauglichkeit erst bei lngerer Nutzung und schlechterem Wetter zeigen, aber fr den bisherigen Eindruck finde ich den Preis von ungefhr 104 Euro tatschlich eher gnstig als teuer.
Unterm Strich ein berraschend gerumiges und sinnvoll aufgebautes Familienzelt mit gutem Preis-Leistungs-Verhltnis, das fr Wochenenden oder krzere Campingausflge einen wirklich ordentlichen Eindruck hinterlsst.
Tolles Zelt und super Preis- Leistungsverhltnis
Wir haben das EchoSmile Kuppelzelt nun ausgiebig getestet und sind absolut begeistert von der Leistung dieses Campingzelts. Schon beim ersten Aufbau fllt die durchdachte Konstruktion positiv auf. Dank des ultraleichten Gewichts und des kompakten Packmaes lsst es sich hervorragend transportieren, was es zu einem idealen Begleiter fr mehrtgige Trekkingtouren, Festivals oder spontane bernachtungen im eigenen Garten macht.
Ein absolutes Highlight ist die hervorragende Wasserdichtigkeit von 5000 mm. Wir wurden whrend unseres Ausflugs von einem krftigen Dauerregen berrascht, aber das Zelt hielt absolut trocken. Die Nhte sind sauber verarbeitet und die Feuchtigkeit hatte keine Chance, in den Innenraum einzudringen. Auch das grozgige Vorzelt hat sich als echter Segen erwiesen. Es bietet reichlich geschtzten Stauraum fr schlammige Wanderschuhe, Ruckscke und weiteres Equipment, sodass der Schlafbereich sauber und ordentlich bleibt.
Das Platzangebot im Inneren ist fr die angegebene Personenanzahl optimal bemessen und sorgt fr einen hohen Komfort. Zudem funktioniert die Belftung einwandfrei, sodass sich kaum Kondenswasser bildet, was den Aufenthalt ber 3 bis 4 Jahreszeiten hinweg sehr angenehm macht. Das Zelt steht stabil im Wind und vermittelt jederzeit ein sicheres Gefhl.
Der einzige kleine Kritikpunkt betrifft die Bodenplane, die fr unseren Geschmack etwas dicker htte ausfallen knnen. Bei sehr steinigen oder unebenen Untergrnden empfiehlt es sich, eine zustzliche Unterlage (Footprint) zu verwenden, um das Material langfristig vor Abrieb zu schtzen. Dies mindert den ansonsten hervorragenden Gesamteindruck jedoch kaum. Angesichts des fairen Preises, der tollen Ausstattung und der Zuverlssigkeit bei schlechtem Wetter vergeben wir eine klare Kaufempfehlung fr alle Outdoor-Begeisterten.
