This pillow won't go flat on you!
Finally! A pillow that doesn’t lose its suport in a matter of weeks! This thing has been a god send! Just a bit of fluffing to it now and then and its perfect! Love how its adjustable with included extra stuffing!
Small recommendation for fellow customers. Chuck it in the dryer for 10 minutes on low BEFORE you add the adjustable fluff or you may find its thicker than you want! LoL
Good Pillow
I like it. The pillow came vacuum sealed, flat, but after sitting out for a couple days it plumped right up. The directions say that the pillow can be put in the dryer for ten minutes to plump up quickly, or I could plump by hand. I just fluffed it by hand and let it sit a couple days.
The pillow is very cushy, but there’s a separate bag of foam that can be added if needed. There’s an inner zippered pillowcase, and an outer zippered pillow case. The inner case holds the foam. I like a firmer memory foam pillow, so unzipped both cases, pushed the foam down in order to make room, and added the extra bag of foam that came with the pillow. Then both bags were zipped back up.
The process of adding the extra foam only took a minute. It was quick and easy to do. I like the feel of the pillow even better now. I got the king size. If you’re sensitive to small particles, adding the extra foam is best done outside. There’s quite a bit of fluffy cottony mix in the foam. Some will get in the air, plus get stuck in the zipper. You must pull that fluff away from the zipper when opening the inner case, as it jams the zipper. I actually got a bit itchy from handling that foam while putting it in the bag, mostly due to the cottony stuff.
I like the feel of the outer case. Both sides look pretty much the same, but there’s a slight difference in material. Both sides are quilted, and one side feels cooler due to a difference in material.
It’s a good pillow. Make sure to keep both cases closed tightly, and use a pillowcase. Contact with the foam is causing me some irritation. Didn’t expect that. Particles in the air and itchiness on the skin. I don’t react to contact with fiberglass, but I’m reminded of it after adding the filling. I’m going to do a 4-star, and will update if needed.

I am notoriously picky about pillows. So much so that I usually pack one of my preferred ones when I travel. Nevertheless, it’s embarrassing how long I’ve been sleeping on the same solid memory foam pillow, mostly because it supported my neck well.
However, this Dual-Side Cooling Pillow from Rainmr has instantly become my new favorite!
When I opened up the vacuum-sealed bag, it expanded very, very rapidly. (I’m always a wee bit surprised how quickly that expansion can happen.) Then I . . . wait for it . . . read the directions (!!!) and put the pillow in the dryer on Air Dry for about 10 minutes, which allowed it to continue to expand and fluff up. I’ve included those instructions in the accompanying photographs.
After a quick test, it was obvious the pillow had too much filling for my preferences, so I removed about a fourth of the contents. After I unzipped the inner pillow liner, I inserted the open end into a plastic trash bag and pulled out what seemed excessive, all of which fell into the trash bag. This eliminated any mess of the fluffy stuffing flying all over the house. Satisfied with the fullness, I closed both zippers and inserted the whole thing into a pillow case.
What followed was one of the best night’s sleep I’ve had in ages! I didn’t wake up a single time during a 6-hour span. Usually, I’m up every 2 to 3 hours followed by long periods of sleeplessness. That didn’t happen last night! Gonna give it another trial tonight and I’m expecting more of the same.
Obviously, the customization is my favorite features but I love the pillow’s other qualities as well. One side has an “outer Cool-Touch fabric + the inner Cooling Gel memory faom layer. The luxurious texture of the bamboo fabric side and the Cool-Touch fabric as well as the obvious quality construction of the pillow are impressive.
I seriously appreciate the “No Lumps” feel of the finely shredded and fluffed “gel-infused shredded memory foam and poly fiber”. Other expensive pillows I’ve tried and rejected had rather big chunks of torn up foam that I could not tolerate.
I like the fact that this pillow is touted to be “sterilized” before packaging. There was **NO** off, weird or unusual smell from the pillow.
It’s a nice touch that the seller includes a generous amount of additional filling if you feel a need to add more. I’m going to stick the loose filling material that I removed into my dog’s bed to give it more loft. I’ll hang onto the neatly packaged extra filling material in case I think my pillow needs refreshing a while down the road.
Rainmr asserts this pillow is recommended for back sleepers, hot sleepers, multi-position sleepers, side sleepers and stomach sleepers. I’m a side sleeper and it worked out great for me.
As with any foam pillow, only the COVER is washable, not the contents of the inner sleeve. (Machine wash, gentle cycle, etc.)
No pillow in the world will be suitable for every person. We all have personal preferences. But, for me, this is absolutely my new favorite pillow.
Incredibly soft and adjustable cooling pillow for a perfect night of sleep.
This pillow arrived packaged with extreme care to ensure it stayed safe during transit. It felt like a mission just to get it out of the thick plastic and layers of tape which I actually appreciated because it showed how much the company values the product. One of the most impressive features is that it is sterilized before shipping so you can sleep on it immediately without worry. It fluffed up almost instantly once released from the box. While the instructions suggest a quick spin in the dryer to help it expand I preferred to manually fluff it to keep the materials in their original state.
The filling is remarkably soft and feels like laying your head on a cloud. It is quite substantial and heavy which helps it maintain a great shape throughout the night. Even though it is so dense the materials remain breathable and comfortable. This pillow features two distinct sides and the cooling side felt chilly to the touch the moment I unpacked it. I have tried other similar products that had a chemical smell but this one only had a very faint scent that was not bothersome at all. The quality of the stitching is excellent and the durable cover can be easily removed for washing.
Customization is a huge plus since it comes with an extra bag of memory foam filler. You can add or remove stuffing to find the perfect level of firmness for your specific needs. It felt just right for me straight away so I did not need to use the extra bag yet. The internal liner keeps everything secure and protected while you sleep. This is a high quality item that feels like a luxury upgrade for any bed. I am very happy with how it looks and feels and I plan on getting more for the rest of my household.
