So much easier, great quality
I love this tent! It was so easy to set up and take down, it has plenty of room inside and seems to be very well made. It is easy to carry and clean.
Would highly recommend to anyone.
It took about 1 minute to set up and 3 minutes to take down and put away.
Roomy and breezy
I love this tent. Set up took seconds. The size was more than enough for just me. I was able to sit up in it and move around. I enjoyed having front and back doors along with side windows. I was able to watch the critters at night. Folding up afterwards takes practice. I recommend practicing at home first. Frustrating, but once you get, you get.
Good bag for lightweight gea
This large bag will be helpful for toting and storing multiple lightweight items. The material is not heavy duck-canvas, and the carry straps are stitched on well, but they don’t span the bottom of the bag. So there really isn’t any protection from the bottom of the bag tearing away at the seams if you overload it. The 104 Liter description is a fair measure of the capacity in terms of dry volune, but 104 liters worth of water would weigh over 200 pounds, and there is NO WAY I would trust this bag to carry that much weight. The pictures show this bag with a distinct rectangular shape, but that is staging for the photos, the bag has zero internal framing or structure whatsoever.
The fabric is good, and the seams are well stitched. There are two pockets in addition to the main bag compartment and all three zippers work smoothly. Unlike the product photo, my bag does not have a double zipper on the front side pocket, only on the zipper for the main compartment. The main compartment zips open across one end, similar to the top of tent and pop-up canopy bags, and the double-pulls can be left slightly apart if something long needs to extend longer and out of the bag. There are two straps that clip across the main zipper to support it, but also to keep things secure if the zipper isn’t enough or suitable. The small pocket at the top of that end also doubles as the stuff-sack for the entire bag when you wanna stash it, emptied. You just turn that pocket inside-out and stuff the entire bag inside. I like that the zippers have fluorescent green paracord on the pulls to make them easy to find
At the time I ordered this bag, retail value was $18 which seems more than fair to me given the good design and large capacity, but also given that it is not particularly heavy duty fabric. I really wish that the straps were a single loop that encompassed the bottom panel of the bag compartment because that would have made it much stronger for carrying more weight. I might actually consider adding another layer of strap material myself for just that same reason, maybe if we find the need to use it for heavier items.
I think this is a good gear bag that will come in handy to tote miscellaneous lightweight items. We have a beach umbrella that is in two pieces and doesn’t have a carry sack so that will live in this bag, and there will be plenty of room for towels, toys, etc. I’d expect it to last a few years with moderate use, and if you keep it out of the sun and severe weather when not in use.
Not thick, formed, structured bag like pics; one big open space, thin lightweight, can be folded up.
So, I’m a bit confused. When ordering this bag I was attracted to it because of all the pictures on the listing…which clearly show a clean cut, rectangular shaped long bag with very clean straight lines and squared ends…the bag looks very formed and structured. Pair that with how the texture and fabric itself looks…more like a padded/layered {again, structured} fabric and appears shiny like tents, sleeping bags, etc fabrics. And with the wording used in title description, “THICK” fabric. Also confusing, in the “About This Item” section, it states this is “water resistant” fabric. But in the “Product Information” section it states “Not water resistant.” I cannot tell either way.
When it arrived, all was folded up into a very small bag, confusing! I opened it up and it was a different bag than I thought I was ordering. It is not formed or structured at all. It is not padded in any way. There are no layers of fabric, nor is it thick or that shiny material it looks like in pictures.
In its entirety, it is only made with one thin layer of lightweight fabric, except in the two pocket areas. The fabric is like a very tight, stronger weave of some kind of canvas type, treated with something protective I assume to make it stronger? with matte finish sheen. Even though it is thin, still feels like it may be durable for what it is?
Although, I did not see a weight limit for this bag, not on listing and there is no tag, info or paperwork that comes with it. {This would be good to know!} FYI: on listing it states this bag is “hand wash only.”
This is just one big open space {around 4 ft long x 12″ in a loose, non-structured form. One long rectangular pocket along the front and one smaller square pocket on back side, which is also the same pocket that the bag folds up into for storage.
The zippers are good quality and have cool bright neon green cord loops for pulls. There is one big central zipper {with two of them} that goes entire length of bag and along full right side. There are little durable fabric loops on each end of the bag. There are two durable long woven fabric carrying straps that are not adjustable, pulled straight up the handles middle measurement is 24-25″ high. Then there are two plastic clasp/buckles cross ways over zipper and these are adjustable.
I was bummed that the bag seemed “not as advertised” but even with that, and not getting that bag, we can still use this bag for a similar but different purpose and with this particular style it’s nice it can fold up into a small pouch. Hopefully though its weight bearing load will line up for our needs.
