This flag pole was exactly what I was looking for for my boat. Installation was quick and easy, and I really appreciated that it mounts to the rail without any drilling. It feels secure once installed and holds the flag nicely, even while out on the water.
The adjustable design made it easy to get the position just right, and the finish looks great. Most importantly, it looks fantastic on my boat and adds a nice finishing touch. I’ve attached photos to my review so others can see how it looks installed.
Overall, this is a well-made, good-looking flag pole that’s easy to install and does exactly what it’s supposed to do. I’m very happy with it!
What I really like about this flag pole is the sturdy base, and the flag pole holder that attaches to it. They are both heavy and well made metal pieces that come with two types of rubber grips for either a round or square bar to attach it to. The flag pole is light weight but sturdy and the rings that slide onto the pole are well made and allow for it to be tightened around the pole yet where the flag is attached with carabineer clips moves freely so the flag moves with the wind. I actually bought this for my golf cart and it fits perfectly on the rear railing behind the back seat. It only took a few minutes to assemble even though the instructions could have been clearer since the picture show you screw the two piece base from the bottom up, but it really only works from the top down as pictured (through the larger piece into the small piece, you’ll know it when you see it). The fit is really tight and I’m confident it will not budge so I don’t think you have to worry if you have it attached to something that goes faster like a boat. The flag itself is just okay, not really made to be high end and doesn’t seem all that durable, and compared to the size of the flag pole it’s really rather small. I did end up buying a slightly larger flag that fills out the flag pole much better.
