Everything you need all in one place
This bassinet bedside sleeper by BRUMADES was designed with convenience and functionality in mind. First, it is super easy to set up. The instructions are incredibly clear and the parts feel sturdy and well made. It has triangular legs to ensure stability and prevention of tip overs. It also has wheels that lock, making it very easy to move this bassinet around the room or other areas as necessary and safely and easily locking it in place when you get there. The bassinet height is adjustable so that it can work with beds of various sides and heights if you choose to keep it close to you. You can use it with all sides enclosed, or you can unzip one of the long edges to keep the side open next to your bed. The included mattress is soft yet supportive. The mesh is breathable and provides good visibility from all sides. It is listed as ASTM certified, meaning it has passed rigorous tests for durability, performance, safe design, and hazardous materials. It includes a simple mobile bar with a few colorful plus toys and also has a mosquito net which is nice to have if you take this outside but not a feature that I personally am looking for in a bassinet. You can also attach a diaper changing station to the top part of the bassinet making this bassinet an all-in-one location for caring for baby. One of the best parts of this bassinet is the inclusion of storage underneath which is so spacious and convenient. You can easily store your diapers, wipes, extra bassinet sheets, blankets, and more. At $160, this bassinet is around the midrange of price for other similarly situated bassinets. In my opinion it is definitely worth the money for the quality and convenience it offers.
Kept everything within reach
We didn’t want anything too complicated, just something we could keep close to the bed for nighttime use. Putting it together was fairly straightforward, and once it was in place, it felt stable enough for daily use. The mesh sides were one of the first things I noticed. It made it easy to check on the baby without having to get up every time, especially during the night when you’re half asleep and just want a quick look.
Being able to adjust the height to match the bed made a difference during late night feedings. It’s easier to reach over instead of fully getting up each time. The wheels are helpful too. We’ve moved it between the bedroom and living room during the day depending on where we are. The diaper changing area has come in handy more than expected, especially during those quick changes when you don’t want to walk across the room.
Thoughtful Design with Plenty of Practical Features
This bedside bassinet is incredibly helpful during the newborn stage, and this one stands out for its versatility and sturdy feel. The adjustable height is especially useful, with clear number markings that make it simple to align with your bed without guessing.
One of the most practical features is the side zipper, which lets you open the wall and keep the bassinet level with your mattress. It makes nighttime care easier since you can reach or slide baby closer without lifting over the side. The mesh panels also provide great visibility and airflow, and the locking wheels make it easy to move the bassinet between rooms while keeping it secure once positioned.
There are several bonus features included, like a small mobile bar, mosquito netting, and a diaper-changing attachment. I didn’t personally rely on those extras much, but they could be useful depending on your setup. The storage shelf underneath is a highlight, offering convenient space for diapers and other essentials.
All in all.. the frame feels stable, assembly was straightforward, and the materials seem durable. With its mix of useful features and solid construction, this bassinet feels like a practical choice for keeping baby close and organized during those early months.
Wish I’d had this for my first kid
This is exactly what I needed with my first child. A bedside bassinet is so much better than a crib for the first little while. This one is better than the one I had in terms of both features and quality.
1. Adjustable height. This is a feature you may or may not need, but if you need/want it, this sleeper has it. I appreciate the number markings to let you know exactly what setting you have it on. No counting or guessing to make sure you have it right.
2. It has a side zip so you can open it up and have flush with your bed if you want so you can slide the infant over to you rather than lift up and over the side. Easy to do and you can change as it suits your needs.
3. The mesh design means you can see your baby easier from more angles.
4.Locking wheels so you can move as you want and then make sure it is firm in place.
5. Underneath storage. You always need storage space and it is nice to have a place to stick some of the basics so you have them nearby.
Things you might like that I didn’t care about/need.
1.This sleeper also has a little bar that is a mobile for the baby.
2. Mosquito netting is on a built in shell that can be easily places to cover the top of the bassinet.
3. Diaper changing platform. I have never found these useful, but some people must because they are fairly common.
This bassinet sleeper comes with easy to follow instructions. It feels solid and has more features than products of similar price. The zipper is off brand, but smooth and feels durable. Great sleeper for your own baby or to give as a gift. Assuming it lasts as long as it appears it will, this is a solid choice to meet your needs and provides good value for quality.
