Product description

Powerful, many settings, durable
This is a powerful hair dryer that dries your hair quickly. The attachments are little inconvenient to attach but once attached they work fine. The hair dryer has several settings including cold air to set your styled hair. Hair dryer is compact and easy to travel with on domestic trips. It is not dual voltage though. I find the concentrator attachment is the most useful for my hair type, which is long and medium-thick. I also like that it is quiet, even at higher speeds. It comes with a long cord and is easy to store away. From a price point it is not that competitively priced compared to others in market.
Babonir Hair Drye
This Babonir Hair Dryer comes with three attachments: comb, diffuser, and concentrator. There are two wind-speeds, three temperature settings (plus a cycle setting), and a cool shot button.
Both speeds pack a pretty powerful punch, so even though I often have to use the high speed setting with other hairdryers, my hair dries just as quickly with this one set on low. I can keep the temperature on warm, too, which I think is better for my hair than using the hot temp.
This hair dryer has what is referred to as a “styling mode” that is activated by holding the temperature button in for three seconds. The instructions don’t explain much about it, though, so I don’t bother with it. I just use the heat and speed settings, and that works fine for me.
After using this dryer, I seem to have fewer flyaways than I do with some of my other dryers. It also does a pretty good job of adding a bit of volume to my fine hair.
The only real issue I have with it is that the attachments can sometimes be uncooperative I try to connect them. As a matter of fact, the only way I can get the diffuser to snap into place is to set it face down on the carpet and push the hairdryer onto it from above (hopefully, that makes sense). The online description says the attachments are magnetic, but they sure don’t seem to be. If they are, they don’t work anything like the magnetic attachments on my other hair dryers. With those, the magnetic pull does all the work, so it’s a lot easier to change the attachments. I wish this dryer operated the same way. It’s not a dealbreaker, though, because this is a nice styling tool. I’m still glad I ordered it.
Really sleek and modern...
I picked this up because my old hair dryer sounded like it was trying to take off, and I figured it was time to upgrade. First impression, it looks nice. Compact, a little more modern than the usual bulky dryer, and lighter than I expected. It doesn’t feel cheap, which is always a relief when you’re spending more than the basic drugstore option. The attachments snap on magnetically, which sounds fancy and actually is kind of convenient once you get used to it.
Using it, the power is definitely there. Even on lower settings it pushes a lot of air, which is great for drying faster but also means you need to pay attention unless you want your hair going in five different directions. It cuts down drying time, which I appreciate when the air already feels heavy and I don’t want to stand there any longer than necessary. The cool shot is easy to use and doesn’t require holding a button down, which is a small thing that makes a difference. That said, the button placement is not ideal. I’ve accidentally hit it more than once, which gets old quickly.
**Pros:**
* Strong airflow that dries hair faster
* Lightweight and easy to handle
* Magnetic attachments are simple to switch out
* Cool shot works without needing to hold it down
* Sleek design that doesn’t take up much space
**Cons:**
* Button placement leads to accidental presses
* Even low settings feel pretty powerful
* Not as quiet as expected
* Attachments take a little getting used to
Overall, it’s a solid dryer that does what it’s supposed to do, just with a few quirks. If you want something that dries your hair quickly and doesn’t feel bulky, this works. You just have to adjust to how strong it is and where your fingers land while using it.
Great performance. Good quality. Very compact size.
This Babonir Hair Dryer is really compact. I love how the air intake is on the back of the dryer as opposed to the bottom of the handle like so many compact dyers these days. The air intake has a great design that really helps prevent my hair from accidentally getting sucked in. It’s easy enough to clean out if it gets any dust buildup inside.
The whole unit initially struck me as kind of heavy, but I quickly realized that its just really dense. The weight of my regular dryer but in a smaller space. That’s actually fabulous. Its not so light that it feels flimsy. I has a nice weight to it that feels durable and solid. It’s comfortable to use.
The attachments are a click on style instead of magnetic. I don’t really have a preference either way. These are easy to put on and take off. They stay on well during use. Really nothing to complain about.
The hot setting gets hotter than my old dryer. There are also medium, cool, and alternating hot and cool settings. I feel like there’s something for everyone. The two speeds work well. I would consider the “high” setting a pretty strong wind speed. Overall this dries my hair quickly and efficiently. And it has a cool shot button too.
I am always annoyed that hair dryers often dont list the cord length. This one is nice and long at 7.5 feet long! The cord is thick and strong. Doesn’t have a swivel cord attachment, but that’s not really a must for a hair dryer.
Overall, this is a really good hair dryer and is worth the cost. It is comparable performance wise to much more expensive dryers. I would recommend this one 🙂
