It does help, just not as much as I’d hoped & I don’t like the cord. I’d still recommend
This gadget works! I put in the register by my front door to help cool of the entryway. Good thing there’s a long cord, but I don’t like have a cord laying on the ground for that great a distance. That being said, it’s thin cord, kind of like a phone charging cable. This works in 4″x10″ registers, and unfortunately, the vents in my bedroom are larger than that, so I couldn’t use it where I wanted to.
It does help though! I live in an older home and the windows need to be replaced. So when my air conditioning is on, a lot of cool air escapes through the windows. This helps me keep my entryway cooler so you don’t walk into to a warm space from the hot outside. The space stays cooler bc of the fans blow the cold air further into the entryway. It’s easy enough to operate and doesn’t require tools (as long as your original vent registers aren’t screwed in). It’s decent enough price, but you have to make sure you have an outlet nearby. Otherwise you’ll be using extension cords and then have long cords strewn around the floors of your home. I’d like to see something like this but uses long lasting lithium ion batteries instead of a cord. I think we all try to hide cords and don’t want more of them on the floors, or anywhere else for that matter. Ultimately, I would recommend this if you have an outlet nearby and want a little bit of extra cooling in a smaller space. It’s not like a turbo AC, it just cools the space a little bit more than the AC unit alone. It just doesn’t help as much as I was hoping. But I’d still recommend it for small spaces. Probably more helpful in an apartment bedroom or something.

It’s pretty quiet, easy to set up, and actually pushes a good amount of air. I like that it has smart features where you can set temperature ranges for cooling or heating so it automatically activates when needed. The app control is also convenient for adjusting settings remotely. It comes ready to use right out of the box and setup instructions are straightforward. Be ware that it’s a plug-in unit, so make sure the outlet is near by, and the power cord stays visible unless you’re able to hide it near an outlet. Other than that, it works well, moves air efficiently, and helps make rooms more comfortable without much hassle.
Amazing
This is an amazing register. It blows out so nicely. I think it has like five different settings. I put it in the living room for my dogs because they like to lay near the floor by the AC register vent and this just gives them more air for them during the summer months I want one in every room of the house. These are flipping great.
Smart solution for stubborn rooms
I installed this in a room that always stayed a few degrees too warm, and the airflow made an immediate, noticeable difference. The WiFi app and Alexa connectivity work flawlessly. Setting the auto thermostat to kick on only when the HVAC is running makes it “set it and forget it” simple. Even at higher speeds, the fan is remarkably quiet, just a faint hum that’s easily ignored. The 4″10″ unit fit perfectly into my floor opening and looks much more modern than a standard vent grate.

Why haven’t I known this type of product was available. Love! My guest room is the furthest away from my heater and air conditioner and it gets hot and cold in there and I have to supplement with either a fan or a heater. This changes the whole game. This device fits right where my register goes perfectly. You plug it in, download the app, and bring more air into the room. The fan is fairly quiet, wouldn’t keep me awake at all. The product appears well made and durable. One of two things I would change are number one. The buttons on the actual vent are a bit squishy and not very responsive. They don’t feel very durable. Number two. That being said, you download the app on your phone and Control the fan from your phone I would have preferred a nice remote which was not included.
I do recommend it for people who have under performing circulation in certain rooms as long as you want to control your fan on your phone I would prefer a remote for my guests.who may not want to download the App.
It does bring more air into my room. It is much more cost effective than have my air ducts worked on.

Noticeable Cooling
A neighbor recommended this kind of fan, so I got three for my living room. After running them for about ten minutes, the room felt noticeably cooler, and the temperature dropped by around 4F.
Improves Room Comfo
I bought one for my bedroom, and it does seem to make the temperature feel more even. What I like most is that I can control it with the app and Alexa, so I don’t have to look for the remote.
