Excellent replacement stand or you get some extra screen heigh
I’ve been meaning to upgrade my monitor setup for ages because my old arm was starting to sag like it was tired of life, and staring down at the screen all day in my Philly home office was giving me that permanent neck crick I swore I’d never get. Right out of the box it feels like a quality piece—solid alloy steel and aluminum construction with a nice painted finish that doesn’t look cheap. The tool-free base assembly is actually tool-free: slide the arm into the pedestal, twist the locking ring, and it’s locked in place—no fumbling for Allen keys or tiny screws at 11 PM. Attaching the monitor to the VESA plate took maybe two minutes with the included screws (100x100mm pattern fit my 22″ perfectly). It’s also dependent on weight as a monitor thats to light will slide all the way down and to heavy will constantly go all the up. Each stand lists the monitor size as well as weight. It’s nice and stable from my experience but I also have kids or pets so there’s no risk of anything bumping into it. I really think this stand is well worth the money and very stable. You can find something cheaper but you won’t be as happy as you will be with this.

    Simple effective and space saving
This monitor stand is a solid upgrade if you’re trying to clean up your desk and get a more comfortable viewing height. The aluminum build gives it a sturdy, premium feel, and it holds a monitor securely without any wobble.

The spring-adjustable height is the standout feature. It makes it easy to fine-tune your setup without having to take everything apart, so you can actually dial in the right position for your posture.

It also helps free up desk space underneath, which is great for keeping things organized or sliding in a keyboard when you’re not using it.

The design is simple and modern, so it fits well in both home and office setups without looking bulky.

Best Computer Accessory I Have Ever Owned
This is one of the best computer accessories I have ever owned. I mostly work at home as a consultant online. For years, my setup has been a Mac laptop and a PC laptop both sharing a larger second screen. For the last 10 years or so, I had that second screen wall mounted on some type of adjustable arm near or above my desk. However, my wife and I have had a big move and have been in two temporary locations for about a year each, while we look at investing in a longer-term option. Thus, I’ve had to be more flexible. As my previous second screen was older, I left it behind during the move. I found a 21-inch flat-screen TV in a thrift store for $15 that was in excellent shape and had two HDMI inputs, so that was a cheap replacement until I get a more permanent office and look at something new. However, as a TV, it just sits on the desk—a little too low and hogging valuable space. When I saw this stand (especially the heavy duty model), I figured it solved a few problems. First, it would raise the monitor and free up desk space. Second, it has a VESA mount, which fits my second-hand TV AND would fit a bigger newer flatscreen that I plan to get in the future. I hardly paid anything for the TV, so I thought I would give it a chance. Boy, was I impressed. This is not like those cheap “stands” that come with most smaller flatscreens. It is light but very strong and sturdy. It has three interlocking parts that make the main support of the stand, so you can completely break it down to a small size by removing one screw (i.e., it would fit in a computer bag). Once the screen is attached, you can move it up and down easily, and you can swivel it. I probably could have used the smaller one (I never actually weighed the 21-inch TV) but am glad I got the big stand for when I upsize. When I ordered it, I didn’t even realize that it rotated (I had just assumed that you set it up in a fixed landscape or portrait more—I didn’t read that closely). So, an added bonus is that I can raise my second-hand TV and rotate it for a portrait screen. The stand is remarkably stable and firm throughout that operation. I’ve included photos of the stand by itself and with my cheap TV in landscape and portrait mode. I suspect I will be using this stand for 20+ years. It definitely will hold a 32-inch monitor for me in the near future and after that I am sure it will be a stand for a TV or flatscreen somewhere else in the house after that. Probably the first heirloom quality computer accessory I have ever owned.
