Great kneeler for garden or to work on a vehicle
Solid build, very nice knee cushion and nice color and includes two pouches to put tools in. The build of this kneeler is very solid, I weigh 250 lbs and this kneeler supports me easily. The side handles work great to help you stand back up, very nice for older folks like myself. The kneeler folds up nicely to store easily and is very compact. Others have a harder knee pad but this one has the extra padding you can strap to the stationary pad to make is very comfortable. Great kneeler and looks great besides being a wonderful addition to the yard work, garden or working on a vehicle without kneeling on the hard pavement or concrete, excellent kneeler.
Thoughtful design and useful extras, but mine has uneven legs
I was genuinely excited to try this garden kneeler because I doubled the number of plants in my garden this year, and I recently hurt my knee. Frequent pruning and weeding are much harder when I cannot squat as easily as before, so a kneeler/bench like this is exactly the kind of garden tool I need.
My first impression was positive. The packaging felt thoughtful, and I liked the “designed by gardener” message. The kneeler can be folded for storage, but only after removing the detachable cushion. That is not a big problem for me because I will probably leave it unfolded most of the time, but it is worth mentioning for anyone with limited storage space.
The main disappointment is that mine came with uneven legs. When I push the bench, it wiggles. Once I kneel on it and add my weight, it does feel fairly stable, but for this price, I expected the frame to be more precisely put together. A garden kneeler should inspire confidence, especially for people using it to protect their knees or help themselves stand back up.
The included pouch is a practical size for small gardening tools, and the seller included some very cute extras: a good-size tool tote, a sheet of stickers, and a pair of garden gloves. Those freebies are truly a generous touch.
It has been raining nonstop lately, so I have not fully tested it in real garden conditions yet. I will use it more once the weather clears and see how it performs on grass, soil, and during actual pruning and weeding. For now, I like the concept and the thoughtful details, but the uneven legs keep me from being fully impressed.
Good foldable garden kneeler and seat. Nothing to assemble.
This seems like a well made and sturdy garden kneeler seat. The main frame is made from steel. There is nothing that really needs to be assembled. You just take it out of the box and unfold it. Once unfold, it is locked in so it can’t be accidentally folded. To fold it back up, you have the pull the metal locking mechanism to release it.
You can use it as a kneeler or as a seat. There are foam pads on both sides. If you want additional cushion, a detachable cushion seat is included. You can buckle the straps on the cushion to secure it to the kneeler. There are plastic feet on both ends of the leg to protect the metal from damage.
A side pouch, a storage bag, and gloves are also included. The side pouch goes over one of the leg frames when used in kneeling mode. Great to keep your gardening tools. But it is not limited to gardening. It’s good for daily task around the yard and house. So you can keep all kinds of tools in it. You can have additional tools in the included storage bag.
I really like this kneeler. Can easily be folded and stored away. Or take with you on trips or work. However, at $73, it seems on the expensive side. Maybe it’s worth it to you for a good quality kneeler and seat that is foldable.
