Product description

Must-have for moving!
These bags are a necessity for moving our college kids! The material is very tough and puncture resistant. The handles wrap around instead of just being attached onto the sides so they’re more durable. The best thing is that these bags are huge so they hold a lot and can be stacked. I didn’t specifically test the claims of 24 gallon capacity or 110 pounds, but we loaded these with pots and pans, bedding, towels, and small appliances. These make moving in and out of the dorm so easy because we were able to use the straps backpack style and then carry other bags resulting in fewer trips between the car and room. They fold for easy storage too. There’s also a handy pouch for adding a label of the contents and they even included a few to get started.
Household necessity
These bags are made of material similar to ‘those’ bags, from the Swedish furniture giant. They feel extremely durable and like they can be loaded up with just about anything and they’re not going to puncture or tear.
In our house, we seem to be in a constant state of renovation/redoing/reorganizing and these bags are exactly what I need to hold one pile of stuff, while we prepare the next location it’s going to, LOL! We have two closets in mid construction, and LOTS of ‘stuff’ with no home in the meanwhile.
One of these is a linen closet, and it feels like we’re in the bedding section of a department store on Black Friday. There are just piles of blankets, comforters, sheets everywhere! Enter the Dayseon extra large moving bags, and all these items are now easily folded and stowed away until we can get that closet repaired and renovated! No more blankets thrown everywhere!
Second closet under renovation is a coat closet. Until these bags, the coats were in our attic, thrown on a folding table. We discovered recently that the flying squirrels that have been staycationing in our attic LOVE this, and have made themselves a super deluxe nest composed of our nice coats. Sadly, they have received their eviction notice and now that it’s spring they’re hopefully moving on anyway- because all coats are safely washed and packed away in these bags now.
I’m sure the uses for these bags are endless- as laundry bags, to hold grocery bags in the back of your car while shopping, to store kids artwork in the attic, holiday decorations, the list goes on. For approximately $20, these bags are an excellent value and hopefully will help you corral your clutter as well.
Very useful set of bags, quite well made for the price
These bags are a good size for filling and toting various items.
They are made of sturdy blue tarp-like fabric that is coated so that it resists ripping or fraying.
The listing says it will hold up to 110 lbs but I’ll be honest, I can’t lift 110 lbs so I don’t know if that’s true. I think they are very sturdy though, and will hold quite a bit of weight. The stitching is well done and the handles are reinforced so they don’t rip out. I like that the handles go all the way around to give extra stability and resilience.
Double zippers are a must on this kind of bag and they don’t disappoint- good quality zippers and pulls that are firmly stitched in.
A lot of people go on about the clear bags and I like those too, but I also like to have some bags that don’t necessarily display all their contents for the world to see. So having these things as well is highly useful. The clear label tag slots make it easy to discern the contents if you put them to use.
The only thing I would love to have on these that isn’t there is a backpack strap option but the price point reflects this, so it’s really not a detriment. The value for the price is excelle
Maybe air it out firs
I have mixed thoughts about these bags. The quality seems pretty good and they hold a surprising amount. I was able to fit a huge fluffy king-size pillow along with some decorative pillows, so the volume capacity is great. They seem like they could handle a decent amount of weight, though I wouldn’t use them for heavy items like books. For clothing, bedding, or soft toys, they work really well. I mainly got them for extra bedding I don’t have space for otherwise.
The part I didn’t enjoy was the smell. Within about 30 minutes, the off-gassing caused me some physical discomfort, and it took a few hours before I felt normal again. I had to move the bags outside and air out my room. I’ve never had a reaction like that before, so it may just be me, but I would recommend opening these in a garage or leaving them outside for a bit before using them. Overall, for the price, I think they’re a decent value, so I’m giving them four stars.
Super sturdy moving and storage bags with labels
I have a ton of stuff, mostly clothing, that is totally taking over my bedroom. I tend to keep clothes that are too big in case I gain weight or too small in the hopes that I might lose weight. Clearly I am not fashion conscious and I don’t care about being stylish. I am also frugal and I hate to see potentially useful fabric go to waste. My current storage system consists of haphazardly putting piles of clothes into stacks of laundry baskets. I realize this is silly, expensive, inefficient and impractical because everything gets dusty.
These storage bags might be the ideal solution to my problem! If I spent the effort to try on and sort all the clothes by size, I could use one bag per weight range, zip them up and make a neat stack on the floor of my closet. Each bag is huge and will hold a ton of clothes. The straps are secure and there are several handles to make the bags easy to transport, especially when they are full and heavy. Both the stitching and the material indicate good quality and durability. The inside of each bag is white which is wonderful because you can easily see what’s inside. To fill the bags, you can stack two piles of clothes side by side or you can store lots more with creative packing. Each bag has a clear pocket on the front so you can label the contents. Your purchase includes very thin square pieces of paper in different color to use for making labels. I’m excited to start sorting and organizing! Of course you could also use the bags for moving!
