I recently installed this **7-inch Android 13 touchscreen stereo in a 2004–2008 Ford F-150 (and compatible F-250/F-350, E-series, Edge models)** and it’s been a really solid upgrade overall, the touchscreen instantly modernizes the dashboard and replaces the old factory radio with a much more responsive and feature-rich system, wireless CarPlay and Android Auto connect quickly and make it easy to use navigation, music, calls, and messages without plugging in your phone, the system runs smoothly for everyday driving with GPS navigation, Bluetooth, WiFi, FM radio, and steering wheel control support all working together to improve convenience, the interface feels much more modern compared to the original setup and gives better access to apps and media, installation is generally plug-and-play for compatible Ford harnesses but still requires some time with trim removal and wiring depending on the vehicle, overall it’s a practical infotainment upgrade that brings modern smartphone integration, better connectivity, and a more updated driving experience into older Ford trucks and SUVs while keeping factory functions usable.
Great customer service.
Great product. This was a much better price point than other double din radios. didn’t want to spend a lot of money since since my work truck. it was very easy to install. Need some additional parts for the installation. Customer service is very easy to get a hold of and very easy to talk to. It fit perfect in my dash and connected easily to my phone. As a bonus, some of the speakers that won’t working in my truck started working again so now it sounds great, like a whole new truck!
A nice stereo let down by poor instructions
Installing this made a big difference to how I feel about driving my car. You might find a cheaper unit if you shop around, but I wouldn’t bother trying.
I like the way the UI works. Power users may think this car stereo lacks storage. RAM is enough to run a few tasks at once. Most phone users should have no problems, as I found both Apple and Android phones work well.
Fitting the camera was more work than everything else put together, but that’s probably true of any car stereo with a rear view camera. The weakest part of this product was the instructions. There’s a single double sided sheet to cover everything … and it doesn’t. I recommend you look at some YouTube videos. Why do makers not include decent instructions? The lack of them can lead to paying for installation, which can cost as much as some low end car stereos cost to buy. So I’m giving this four stars, just because of the poor instructions.
Nice unit for the price
good unit for the price, BUT the steering wheel controls DO NOT WORK for the 2012 F-250 – I believe I can buy an aftermarket unit to convert the signal, but, this unit does not make it work. Easy to install, fits perfect. sounds and works great.
